Friday 27 August

Borussia Dortmund 9/20 | Draw 42/10 | Hoffenheim 48/10 (20:30)

Kicking off proceedings this Friday night we have Borussia Dortmund up against Hoffenheim at the infamous Signal Iduna Park where they kicked off the season in impressive fashion. A German Super Cup defeat was followed by an upset against Freiburg in their travels means the Black and Yellows will be coming out with something to prove when they host Hoffenheim.

The away team are looking promising with a 0-4 away win over Augsburg in their first fixture followed by a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Union Berlin at home. Form might be in the favour of Hoffenheim, but fans in the Signal Iduna brings the Black and Yellows to life. I’m not sure of a winner but goals can definitely be expected in this encounter with Both Teams to Score (Yes) and Over 2.5 at 13/20.

Saturday 28 August

Stuttgart 11/10| Draw 51/20 | Freiburg 23/10 (15:30)

Stuttgart lauched out the blocks like Usain Bolt only to be shut right down by RB Leipzig with a four-goal whipping. Re-evaluate, recalibrate says Stuttgart’s Pellegrino Matarazzi, but with a host of injuries to deal with (nine to be exact) times might be tougher than the boss is making it out to be. Freiburg stole the show last weekend upsetting many punters bet slips with a win over Borussia Dortmund. You might see me say this a lot in this preview, but home fans are definitely bringing some fire into the players. So, with that in mind, Stuttgart just over even money is value all day.

Mainz 7/10| Draw 29/10 |Greuther Furth 7/2 (15:30)

Mainz were superb as they inflicted defeat on big dog’s RB Leipzig in their opening fixture giving me false hope. When they travelled to Bochum I figured even the fans couldn’t get the newly promoted team a win over Mainz, but football works in funny ways. Now Mainz will face off with another new face in division, Greauther Furth who seem to be out of their depth in Germany’s top division. Mainz might have let us down last time out, but at home to Greuther Furth has three points to Mainz written all over it.

Arminia Bielefeld 47/20 | Draw 26/10 | Eintracht Frankfurt 11/10 (15:30)

The home team have had a rather frustrating two fixtures grabbing just two points. A goalless opening round against Freiburg followed by 1-1 stalemate against newcomers Greuther Furth.

Arminia will also be without Alessandro Schopf after he picked up a second yellow and subsequent red last time out.

Frankfurt are also seeking some light at the end of their tunnel, after being thumped 5-2 by Borussia Dortmund and drawing 0-0 with Augsburg in an uneventful affair for the fans in attendance.

Both teams will be fighting but nothing separates the two after 90 minutes for me. Get on the draw.

Augsburg 7/2 | Draw 28/10 | Bayer Leverkusen 7/10 (15:30)

Bayer Leverkusen took Borussia M’Gladbach by storm last time out, with an impressive 4-0 win.

An unlikely early goal saw Mitchel Bakker net the opener for Leverkusen before Czech Republic’s Patrick Schick found the back of the net just five minutes later to continue their great form.

Augsburg have had it tough with a big loss in their first match, and a goalless draw to Eintracht Frankfurt on the road. The home team are now the only Bundesliga outfit to not find the back of the net this season and will be desperate to rectify this.

Just two Bundesliga teams have found success away from home so far, and you can back Bayer Leverkusen to become the third.

Cologne 17/20 | Draw 26/10| Bochum 3/1 (15:30)

Cologne got off to a great home win over Hertha Berlin only to come up against defending champions Bayern Munich in which they put up a mighty 3-2 fight only to fall short at the Allianz.

Florian Kainz has been the influential player in each of their last two fixtures and with the fans in full voice to appreciate the winger, we can expect another solid perforamnce.

Bochum struggled to cope against Wolsfburg but found their feet last time out beating Mainz two goals to nil on home turf.

The home ground advantage has become a big talking point and in a fixture of this status, we are almost certain a home win. Back the Billy Goats to take all three points.

Bayern Munich 1/6 | Draw 7/1 | Hertha Berlin 12/1 (18:30)

Bayern Munich have seemingly kicked into gear under Julian Nagelsmann. A much better performance from the players earned their first three points on the board after a 3-2 win at the Allianz over Cologne.

Robert Lewandowski as an anytime goalscorer is definitely on the cards after he netted his 12th consecutive Bundesliga goal for Bayern.

Hertha Berlin on the other hand were not able to use the home crowd advantage losing 1-2 to Wolfsburg. Hertha are now the only team to not record a point for the season and it’s shaping up to be another tough season.

Bayern have yet to record a clean sheet and this should prove the ideal fixture to remedy this. Punt Bayern Munich Win To Nil at 12/10.

Sunday 29 August

Union Berlin 17/10 | Draw 22/10 | Borussia Monchengladbach 33/20 (15:30)

Union fought in a pulsating encounter that ended a 2-2 draw on enemy turf. Yet another draw for Union who will be hoping to secure their first three points when they face Borussia M’Gladbach at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei.

In their opening match against Bayern Munich, Gladbach looked promising, managing a draw despite a misfiring Munich attack. Gladbach faced off with tough opponents Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, losing both halves in a 4-0 result.

Union have never lost to Gladbach at home, and with fans in the stadium producing a massive advantage in recent days, Union Berlin on the draw no bet at 17/20 is multiple worthy.

Wolfsburg 23/10 | Draw 49/20 | RB Leipzig 11/10 (17:30)

Leipzig made light work of Stuttgart with a 4-0 win back in front of their fans after a bad start losing to Mainz on the road.

Dominik Szobeszlai was quite brilliant putting in a man of the match performance with a brace in his second league appearance for his new team.

Only one team won away from home this past gameweek, and that was Wolfsburg. Die Wolfe are the only Bundesliga team to take six points from the first two matches of the season. A home win over newly-promoted Bochum and an away win over Hertha Berlin sees Wolfsburg sit atop the table.

Leipzig played some excellent football in their win over Stuttgart, but the home advantage is proving quite a deciding factor in matchups, bet on both teams to score (Yes) in this tight encounter at 13/20.

MULTIPLE @ 15/1

Stuttgart Win 11/10
Mainz Win 7/10
Bayer Leverkusen Win 4/10
Union Berlin Win 17/10
