It’s a cracking game of football to start off the weekend, neither side can afford to lose the game – and so I think it might be quite physical but cagey. Under 2.5 Goals is available at 4/10. Get on.
Saturday 13 May
Real Sociedad 13/20 | Draw 29/10 | Girona 42/10 (14:00)
Sociedad are still in the hunt for those Champions League places – and the job is pretty much done now. Girona, on the other hand, need to keep winning and putting pressure on those above them in order to keep their Europa League dream alive – and I think they could be the surprise pick here. They have lost just one of their last five and only Real Madrid have managed to score more than a goal against them. Back them on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 21/20.
Osasuna 5/4 | Draw 24/10 | Almeria 22/10 (16:15)
Neither side comes into the game with any serious degree of form, but a win will surely be what they both need. I’m siding with the home team; you will need to go back to the turn of the year to see the last time they lost at home and so I would suggest you tentatively get onto the 5/4 about the hosts.
Villarreal 5/4 | Draw 5/2 | Athletic Bilbao 43/20 (18:30)
The hosts will want to return to winning ways here, and likely be bolstered by the fact that their opponents have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four fixtures. Expect Villarreal to full advantage of it and justify their 5/4 price tag.
Real Madrid 4/10 | Draw 39/10 | Getafe 13/2 (21:00)
It isn’t a surprise to see that the league is no longer a priority for Real, they are currently locked in battle with Manchester City and for all intent and purpose they will be looking ahead to next year’s domestic season. Their visitors however will know they need to scrap and fight for points here – and I think their focus might be rewarded. Back the away side on the win/draw Double Chance at 16/10.
Sunday 14 May
Celta Vigo 12/10 | Draw 24/10 | Valencia 23/10 (14:00)
Neither side have enjoyed a productive season so far and given their closeness to those embroiled in a relegation scrap – I suppose you would have to include them in that ‘scrap’. Both teams scoring seems to be a banker here though, get on at 17/20.
Elche 58/10 | Draw 36/10 | Atletico Madrid 9/20 (16:15)
Atletico Madrid continue to provide themselves with a platform to end this season with conviction. Elche, on the other hand, is effectively relegated and I’m not sure those players want anything to do with these sorts of fixtures. The away win is a banker.
Valladolid 14/10 | Draw 24/10 | Sevilla 19/10 (18:30)
The hosts will need to start strongly here, if they allow Sevilla to get onto the front foot it could be a long evening indeed. Sevilla will come into the game with enough confidence to justify taking the game to their hosts – 19/10 is a gift. Take full advantage of it.
Espanyol 7/2 | Draw 29/10 | Barcelona 15/20 (21:00)
Barcelona have pretty much got the league all wrapped up and ready for collection! I suppose it helps that they aren’t involved in any other club competition at the moment – but that is beside the point. I still think 15/20 is a fair price – so by all means, pile in.

It’s another tricky little game in La Liga – both teams will have genuine intentions regarding their European qualification and so it forces the game to take one of two routes…mind dumbingly cagey or incredibly expansive! I am going to go for the latter and nestle myself comfortably into the home win!
