The tournament will take place between 05 and 16 July in Durban, alternating between the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, and the Chatsworth Stadium at the Chatsworth Stadium.
With Morena Ramoreboli temporarily at the helm for this tournament as the coach again, 23 locally based players will have the opportunity to force themselves into the reckoning for the wider national team squad with the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations fast approaching.
“Our preparations have gone very well, and I’m also happy with the quality we are having here. There are some very committed individuals, very hungry, willing to fight for the nation. So we are just hoping that we will be consistent and focused throughout the tournament. I really want to thank all the South Africans for their prayers and their support.”
