Black Leopards say they have no plans to sell in-demand striker Bethuel Muzeu but won't stand in his way if a good offer comes in.
The 24-year-old Namibian international is reportedly being courted by a number of African teams including those from the DStv Premiership.
Muzeu, who joined Leopards from Tura Magic in 2022, excelled in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season.
He was most recently in action for his country in the COSAFA Cup where he netted three goals, to follow up on some impressive performances at the recent Africa Cup of Nations.
Leopards club spokesperson Lucky Tshilimandila told FARPost: “Mzeu is still with the team. Of course, there are offers, teams that have knocked.
“But so far, he is still with us because he still has a contract.
“That’s why he is preparing for the next season. He is here. But as Black Leopards we always allow players to go and flourish somewhere.
“You can name them from the likes of Tiyani Mabunda, Hlompho Kekana, Khuliso Mudau, and Lesedi Kapinga, you can name them. It’s a whole lot of players.
“If there are any tangible offers because this is a national team player for Namibia.
“So we can’t stand on his way, but if he doesn’t go anywhere this season and we get promoted, I am sure he would also like to remain here because we would be playing in the elite league. But if there are offers that are suitable, we can’t stand in his way.”
