Sead Ramovic's potential move to Raja Casablanca has reportedly hit a snag, as Tim Sukazi insists it’s up to both parties to resolve the issue.
Ramovic was the leading candidate to replace the outgoing Josef Zinnbauer, who departed Raja after a successful tenure to join Al-Wehda in the lucrative Saudi Pro League.
Zinnbauer departed after leading Raja to an undefeated season, winning both the Botola Pro 1 and Throne Cup.
Despite the deadlock, Sukazi has indicated that Ramovic has his support in pursuing the opportunity with the Moroccan champions.
The 45-year-old attracted interest to the Botola Pro 1 champions after having an impressive 2023/24 DStv Premiership with the Rockets leading them to finish sixth in the league – their highest-ever finish – and reaching the Carling Knockout final.
“I think I’ve said a mouthful about Raja Casablanca’s interest in Sead Ramovic and I did say that they are a big club, one of the top five in the continent,” Sukazi said.
“And I did say if it happens is the greatest opportunity for him as a person and for his career and I will support him.
“I haven’t hidden anything about it so it’s not my business I don’t work for Raja.
“Whether they conclude eventually they pin pen to paper with coach Ramovic it is for them to resolve.
“As for TS Galaxy, we are in a good space, you can see we are preparing very well, and our coach is here so we have nothing to worry about.”
Reports suggest that Ramovic wants to bring his own technical to Morroco which is the reason why these two parties could not seal the deal.
