Mamelodi Sundowns wrapped up their pre-season tour of Austria with a 2-1 victory over Al Hilal.
Second-half goals from Lucas Ribeiro and Aubrey Modiba at Rudolf Tonn Stadium gave the Brazilians the win.
Facing the Saudi Pro League side for their second match on Friday, Downs secured their fifth fixture of the tour.
Earlier that day, they achieved their first tour win by defeating Qatari Stars 3-0, following a 2-1 loss to German third-division team SV Sandhausen, a 1-0 defeat to Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine, and a 1-1 draw against Cardiff City.
Sundowns had an early opportunity to score but squandered the chance.
Peter Shalulile also missed notable opportunities late in the first half.
In the second half, the home side was awarded a controversial penalty for handball, but Sundowns’ goalkeeper Dennis Onyango successfully denied Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Sundowns quickly responded, with Ribeiro’s shot giving them a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute.
This lead was short-lived as Sundowns conceded another penalty, which Mitrovic converted in the 58th minute, levelling the match at 1-1.
However, Modiba restored Sundowns’ lead in the 64th minute with a well-placed shot.
Sundowns will now return home to finalise their preparations for the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season.
They are set to open their campaign at home against Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarter-finals on Sunday, 11 August.
