1. The competition will run from 17 August 2024 to 30 May 2025.

2. All online and branch entries will close on 30 May 2025 at 23:59pm.

3. The Bet Slip must be retained for all SMS entries.

4. Only bets taken/placed after the competition start date (17 August 2024) and before the competition end date (30 May 2025 at 23:59pm) will be considered.

5. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition and have a valid Hollywoodbets account.

6. Entries are unlimited. One R10 bet = 1 entry. Every bet for R10 or more on the selected fixtures & leagues will be an additional entry.
7. 8. The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid and correct entries as stipulated above and opted-in on the Promotions page, during the campaign period.

9. The winners will be announced every week of the campaign period with the final prize winner announced on 30 May 2025.

10. There will be a total of 36 draws for the winners. In all 36 draws, there will be a total of 267 winners for this campaign.

11. Once the winner’s name has been selected in one of the draws, it will be withdrawn from the competition and cannot be re-selected into another draw. A person may not win more than one prize for the duration of the campaign.

12. Draws to select the winners will be conducted by one of the Hollywoodbets Team Support Office Team Members and will be supervised by an Internal Auditor.

13. The share of R545 000 in betting vouchers & cash prize money will be deposited directly into the winner’s Hollywoodbets accounts (where applicable) and only the cash prize money can be withdrawn.

14. The betting vouchers must be turned over once at odds of 5/10 (0.5) or greater before withdrawing.

15. Branch winners who receive cash or betting voucher prizes must submit a bank statement (dated within the last 3 months), a bank confirmation letter, and a copy of their identification document to claim their prize. Alternatively, winners have the option to open a Hollywoodbets account for direct crediting of their winnings.

16. All cash and betting voucher prizes for online winners will be credited into their Hollywoodbets account within 3-5 working days.

17. In terms of the Vehicles prize, Hollywoodbets is not responsible for any warranties, maintenance, services or any other potential liability relating to the cars.

18. The vehicles will be branded for 6 months in Hollywoodbets branding. In this period the vehicle cannot be sold or traded-in and the winner must retain ownership for the vehicle for the whole 6-month period.

19. The winners must allow Hollywoodbets a reasonable time – period to arrange for the cars to be ordered, registered and licensed in their names and must provide Hollywoodbets with all information and original documentation required for this purpose, including an Identity Document together with a valid driver’s licence in respect of the winner or their nominated driver.

20. Hollywoodbets will only cover the cost of flat bedding the vehicles to a major centre within South Africa (Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth) where the winner will need to collect the prize, unless otherwise agreed upon.

21. Prizes are non-transferable.

22. Hollywoodbets will not provide insurance for the vehicles that are won.

23. The cars will be handed to the winners with full tanks of petrol.

24. Hollywoodbets will not be held liable/accountable for any faults, damages or injury regarding the prizes & competition.
25. By entering the competition, you agree:

1. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
2. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
3. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.

26. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.

27. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.

This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all the above.

By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.

30. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
