The match will kick off at 15:00, with the overall winner to face Mamelodi Sundowns or Stellenbosch FC in the final.

Pirates and the Citizens played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg at DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Wednesday.

City scored in the second half through exciting youngster Jaedin Rhodes, erasing a first-stanza goal by talented teenager Relebohile Mofokeng.

The Sea Robbers head to the second leg in an advantageous position as they scored away from home.

But Riveiro said they are not going with the mentality to just avoid conceding at home, with the hope of going through based on the away goal rule.

“It’s important that we analyse what happened in the second half, why we couldn’t contain them a little better in those minutes?” Riveiro told media in Cape Town after the game.

“But let’s see, it’s another game on Saturday, trust me, we are not going to think that 0-0 there is going to be alright.

“We are going to play to win the match as we used to do it. It’s good that we have a 1-1 scoreline from the away leg but that’s all.”

While Pirates were a better team in the opening half, the hosts dominated the final stanza.

Riveiro doesn’t expect coach Eric Tinkler and his men to just roll over and play dead in Soweto.

“We have to come up with the solutions, yes of course, but we don’t know if they are going to approach with the same type of pressing, same structure, mobility when they are in attack,” Riveiro said.

“But once you’ve seen it and have the opportunity to experience those scenarios, you become more prepared for the second time.

“But probably Eric is going to propose maybe two or three different things that will make things difficult again and (ask) different questions so we have to be prepared with different answers.

“But also, we have to be prepared for what they proposed today (Wednesday) because they would feel they have reasons to repeat some of the things that they did tonight.”
