US Open Competition-Terms and Conditions

How To Enter:
Customers simply have to bet for R50 or more on any of the US Open 2024 fixtures and opt in on the
“promotions page” once to stand a chance to win their share of R20 000 in cash and betting vouchers.

1. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the campaign.
2. Competition starts on 20 August 2024
3. Competitions ends on 8 September 2024
4. The prizes will be broken down as follows:
• Draw 1: 27 August 2024
X3 R2 000 cash each & X4 R1 000 cash each – can be withdrawn
• Draw 2: 3 September 2024
X5 R1 000 betting vouchers each
• Draw 3: 9 September 2024
X10 R500 betting vouchers each
Total 22 Winners
5. To qualify for a share of R20 000 in cash and betting vouchers, account holders have to bet for
R50 or more on any of the US Open 2024 fixtures.
6. The tournament starts on the 26th of August and ends on the 8
th of September.
7. The winners will be selected randomly as per above draw dates from all valid and correct
entries as stipulated above and opted-in on the promotions page, during the campaign period.
8. The winners will be announced on 27 August, 3 September, and 9 September 2024.
9. Only Bets taken/placed after the promotion start date (20 August 2024) and before the
promotion end date (8 September 2024 at 19:59am) will be considered.
10. There will be 3 draws for the winners of this campaign.
11. All 22 winners will be selected per above draws. Three winners will receive R2 000 in cash
each, four winners will receive R1 000 in cash each, five winners will receive R1 000 in betting
vouchers each, and ten winners will receive R500 in betting vouchers each.
12. Once each winner’s name has been selected in the draw, it will be withdrawn from the
promotion and cannot be re-selected on the draw. A person may not win more than one prize
for the duration of the campaign.
13. The draws to select winners will be conducted by one of the Hollywoodbets Team Support
Office Team Members and will be supervised by an Internal Auditor.
14. The cash prizes will be deposited directly into the winner’s Hollywoodbets accounts (where
applicable), and it may be withdrawn.
15. The betting vouchers will be deposited directly into the winner’s Hollywoodbets accounts
(where applicable), and it may not be withdrawn.
16. Betting Vouchers must be turned (staked) once at odds of 5 / 10 (0.5 decimal) or greater,
before withdrawing.
17. Prizes are non-transferable.
18. By entering the competition, you agree:
a. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the
purposes of the competition,
b. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
c. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and
photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in
any such promotional activities.
19. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or
terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect
thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any
rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents
and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against
Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
20. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and
accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
21. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees,
agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls
or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners,
business partners or immediate family members of all the above.
22. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users
and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its
subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers
and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage,
expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly,
from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize,
and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
23. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
24. In the event of a dispute, individuals should consult the company’s general terms and
conditions paragraph 2.19, entitled Dispute Resolution.
25. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with
Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
26. Entrants, by virtue of participation, understand that information provided is collected by
