The best-weighted entrant in this Pinnacle Stakes contest is the veteran campaigner BULLETING HOME who needed his two comeback runs following a lengthy absence and of course the classy inmate from the Tarry yard has fond memories of this surface, having easily beaten ROYAL ARMOUR (4kgs better off) in a Grade 3 contest nearly 18 months ago. The latter wasn’t effective over a mile last time but has always had an affinity for this distance as his record shows and certainly comes into the reckoning.

STAR IN THE SKY finished smartly in both her performances over shorter, the debut of which was on this surface and the blinkered daughter of Silvano is bred to relish this stiff test of stamina. The Drier inmate could have serious improvement to come & she merits healthy respect.

Of course her good draw is a major advantage. The latter doesn’t have that luxury but may still be involved in the finish on her favourite surface.
