Race 1 | 07:29 | 1100m | 2YO and Up Maiden
CATIA is still a maiden after 18 career starts, but the 4-year old daughter of Unencumbered finds conditions to suit on the back of some improving form and she bumps a very modest field here. She showed good early speed and stayed on well last time out, under apprentice Laqdar Ramoly and with the 3kg claimer retaining the ride, she looks set to leave the maidens this time. RORY WHO returns for his first run this year after showing signs of inconsistency towards the back end of his latest spell. He still has scope to improve and looks the biggest danger to the top selection. MORGAN LE FAYE and SUDDNLEY NOBLE appear to be the best of the rest, but they will need to improve to have any chance of winning here.

Selections: 4 – 2 – 5 – 6 – 1

Race 2 | 08:04 | 1500m | 2YO and Up Maiden
FANGIO went close to winning in that debut run over 1000m, when running on strongly in the closing stages. That was on the back of a smart trial over the same course and distance. The 4-year old mare should enjoy this step up in trip and just about win this. BLONDE WARRIOR has started to show signs of a producing a winning effort shortly, having given a good sight in her last three starts. She motored home for just a 1,39-length defeat in her latest attempt. The extra ground should suit, and she’ll be one of the bigger challenges. MY NAME’S STAR didn’t quite shape in her last start, but on her form prior to that, the 3-year old daughter of Oratorio has the credentials to go right into contention. HE’S GONSKI didn’t quite enjoy the quicker tempo over 1240m last time but he will have a nice chance if repeating that penultimate run over this course and distance.

Selections: 6 – 7 – 8 – 3 – 5

Race 3 | 08:39 | 1100m | 2YO and Up MR70 and Up
TRANQUILLA SUNRISE is an old campaigner who has certainly been around the block at the age of 10. He has given a good account of himself in his last three starts over this trip, confirming that he certainly hasn’t lost his speed. He likes this course and has the form to win this despite carrying top weight. CAPTIVATED POINT finds conditions to suit here, after showing threatening signs in his last few starts. With four wins from his seven outings over this course and distance, he will be looking to continue his good recent run of form and mount a very challenge big here. SENSO has a distance question mark against his name after contending over further in recent times. He has finished second twice from his four attempts over this trip and has found some useful form of late. If the pace is on, he could mount a late charge for the minor placings. OUR BUDDY BOY has been in fair recent form, but he is yet to win from seven attempts over this 1100m trip. With that said, he should be a quartet inclusion with very little opposition to speak of beyond these top four selections.

Selections: 1 – 4 – 3 – 5 – 2

Race 4 | 09:15 | 1050m | 2YO and Up Class 2 Handicap
DANEHILL STORM has followed up that win three starts back in this class, with two solid efforts. He is distance suited and appears to have found the right sort of field here. The market rival, SPICULUS, has only had the five starts so far and he has progressed nicely into this class after leaving the maidens fours starts back. The son of Famous Roman went very close to winning over this course and distance in his penultimate start and a repeat of that run brings him right into contention. SHESAPOCKET ROCKET has been in good consistent form at this level and the speedy daughter of Oratorio has the credentials to go right into contention here, with a good distance record to her name. IBIZA has plenty of speed and if looking past that latest effort when he clearly didn’t enjoy the soft, he must go right into the equation.

Selections: 1 – 2 – 5 – 4 – 6

Race 5 | 09:45 | 1500m | 2YO and Up MR58+ Handicap
COLD AS COLD arrives on the back of a solid win when stepping up to this course and distance in his last start. He lines up under similar conditions under retaining rider Brodie Kirby and from another plum draw he can follow up. LORD KRONOS drops back in class after a solid effort over this course and distance last time, when sitting behind the speed and hitting the line well to finish just 1,94-lengths off the winner. Carded to carry 6kg more this time, the 3kg claiming Victoria Corver will offer some relief and he has the credentials to fight out the finish. CHASING CHAOS has found some good consistent form over this course and distance. The stable companion to the top selection will more than likely set the fractions for the latter, but he is capable of boxing on for minor money. MONGOLIAN WARLORD ran on well under similar conditions last time out. Beth Paterson retains the ride and from a much-improved draw, the son of War chant must be included.

Selections: 3 – 1 – 2 – 6 – 9

Race 6 | 10:15 | 1500m | 2YO and Up Class 2 Handicap
STARAUTHORESS was caught far back before mounting a big late surge to finish just 1,4-lengths behind the winner, KENDEL’S MEE DAD, last time. That was his second run after a rest and he now steps up to a trip where he has tasted success already. With scope for improvement, the son of Starspangledbanner will be forced to repeat those tactics from draw 13, but he should be up to the task and he also lands the best bet tag. KENDEL’S MEE DAD is carded to carry 1,5kg more on this occasion, after that smart win last time out. The 1,5kg claiming Beaux Banovic-Edwards will look to negate the weight turnaround and from a plum draw, he should be the biggest challenger to the top selection. MYGIRLFRANKIE and FAMILY CONNECTION both have solid form behind them and deserve inclusion.

Selections: 4 – 1 – 5 – 7 – 10

Race 7 | 10:45 | 1230m | 2YO and Up MR57+ Handicap
It’s a wide-open race to finish off proceedings but UPTOWN FUNK is the narrow first selection and she should present her followers with some decent value in her peak run back after a rest. She was one of the leading contenders in that latest effort which happens to be a formline that features prominently in this race. From a much-improved draw and the 3kg claiming apprentice in the irons, she should give punters a good run for their money. DEANGLES flew up for second in an eye-catching performance last time out, over a similar trip. He has been in consistent form of late and the son of Demerit has the credentials to feature here. MAGIC OPUS finished right behind the top selection in that latest effort and she now steps up to a trip where she has found her best form. Jade McNaught retains and she must be included. LITTLE PUNGA steps back up to a trip where he won in his penultimate start. That was after a useful effort in his latest attempt. On his useful course and distance record, he must be included.

Selections: 7 – 6 – 2 – 1 – 5
