Race 1
ANDERS returns from a 16-week rest, but has not been far behind the winner in his first three starts and has had the benefit of three barrier trials, winning the last of them. ZANZIDANCE is a filly taking on the boys. She finished second on debut over five furlongs, just 1.5L behind the winner. The two scratchings in the race so far, unfortunately, do not assist her draw and she is now drawn the widest of them all. ALURA is also a filly. She makes her debut today, but she has won both of her barrier trials and if not too green, she should be a big threat to the top two selections. Any betting support for her should be respected. MOLLYCODDLE is yet another filly in the race. She has her first outing since a 15-week break, but she has put in two solid barrier trials and has cracked pole position.

Race 2
Three fillies could dominate the finish to this race and complete the trifecta. DREAM MAIDEN returns from a 22-week rest, but she has had two barrier trials to confirm her well-being. She has not been too far off the action in her last three starts before the break and she should be respected from her mid-field draw. SO CHARMING finished second on debut over six furlongs. She was friendless in the betting markets that day, but she would have come on with the run and despite a wide draw, she should be involved in the finish today. STOLEN JADE, on the other hand, has gate three to start from. She finished second in her last outing and should be running on in the latter stages of the race. TIC TOCK MAN is drawn one inside the latter and should use that gate to get right up there with the pace, as is his norm.

Race 3
With nearly half the field being scratched, this could leave the door open for FROSTY ROCKS to chalk up his maiden victory. He returns from a 24-week break, but he did win his barrier trial and has cracked pole position. DUENNA is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she drops back in distance after finishing second last time out over 1300M. KRAMERIC returns from a 22-week break during which time he was gelded. He has had a barrier trial and a repeat of his penultimate effort over this distance would make him a big runner here. MOMACK has his first start in 19 weeks and for his new trainer. He has only had the two runs to date, but he showed the expected improvement in his second start. If fully acclimatized in his new environment, he should be considered in this line-up.

Race 4
This looks to be a tricky contest with a number of runners coming into contention. PIONEER is a speedy sort who has finished second in his last two starts over this distance and will be hoping to have that consistency rewarded today. From his mid-field draw, he must be one of the leading contenders for top spot. BIGGER THAN THORN has consistent formlines tom his credit and although he finished sixth in his last outing over six furlongs, he was just two lengths behind the victor. RANGES has posted solid formlines and won his maiden race last time out over this distance. He takes on stronger here, but he has gate three and should make his presence felt here. CRIADERAS won over this trip on debut but has a very wide draw to negotiate here. Given the way he finished in his first outing, he should be picking off the frontrunners at the business end of affairs.

Race 5
CAPTAIN’S LEGEND has consistent staying form and was only beaten a head last time out over eleven furlongs. The drop in distance is sure to be to his liking. CURATA PRINCESS is a 6yr old mare taking on the boys and has her second run after a 15-week rest. She is drawn three and a repeat of her penultimate effort when fourth over twelve furlongs, would see her rival the former. BUBA is a 3yr old filly who stayed on well when stepping up to this trip last time out. If she is able to confirm that effort, she should be right up there in the firing line. KIARRA ROSE is a 7yr old mare who seemed to have lost her way in her last two outings, but she won over eleven furlongs three runs back and if repeating that effort, she should be included in all bets.

Race 6
DESIGN AHEAD finished second last time out when going the 1500M and jumping from pole position here, he should be a serious player in this contest. MILAWA is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she has improved in her last two runs, the latest being over this distance. She should be involved in the finish here. SEPORTO is drawn six and if he is able to reproduce this penultimate effort over this distance when only beaten a head, he should be right up there when they reach the winning post. OCONEE has only had the one outing where he finished fourth, one and a half lengths behind the winner despite being baulked for a run. He would have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he should be viewed as big threat to the top three selections.

Race 7
NAVY CROSS has his second run after a 23-week break, but he has either won or finished close up in his last three starts over various distances. From gate two he will be hoping to repeat his victory over this distance three runs back. He won’t, however, have things all his own way as TAMPERING attempts his hat-trick here. He steps up in trip and has a wide draw to beat, but he nevertheless looks the immediate danger to the former. OCEAN HEART is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she was just one length behind the winner last time out over seven furlongs. She is a known frontrunner and should get to the front for nothing, jumping from pole position. TRAJECTION is also a 3yr old filly who steps up in distance from the 1300M of her last outing. She won her penultimate start over seven furlongs and could pose a threat to the top three selections.
