Race 1
RAMRON is seldom too far off the action and did not seem to quite see out the 1700M of his last start. The drop back to the mile is sure to suit him better and from his handy draw, he looks the value in the race. OAKFIELD TICKETS is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys. She steps up to the mile after finishing third last time out over 1500M and may be the biggest threat to the former. NOBLE CAUSE has only had the two runs to date and takes another step up in trip. If taking to the mile, he should be considered here. SASSY EM is a 4yr old filly who has shown marked improvement in her last two outings and if she has continued down that path, she should be involved in the finish today.

Race 2
Three 4yr old fillies could dominate the finish here and complete the trifecta. LEAVE ME SOME returns from a 20-week break and drops back to five furlongs. She has a wide draw to negotiate, but she should be doing her best work late. DRAGON’S BEAUTY put in a fair last effort over five furlongs and a repeat of her penultimate run over this distance would make her a runner here. IN FOR A DOLLAR returns from a longer 23-week rest. Her last outing over six furlongs was solid and although she has not had the benefit of a barrier trial, she will race fresh and could be a factor here. IRISH THUNDER is a 2yr old colt taking on older horses. He makes his debut today after running second in both his barrier trials. Any betting support for him should be respected.

Race 3
As with the previous contest, the fillies, in this case three year old’s, look like they can fill the top three positions in the race. POWER BELLS has had two encouraging efforts over six furlongs. She steps up slightly in distance, but there is nothing to suggest that this will be beyond her capabilities. SALAMANGKERA has her first run since a 16-week rest and has not had a barrier trial. She did, however, finish under a half-length behind the winner in her last start before the break and if not needing the outing, she could challenge for top spot. FU NI returns from a 21-week break, but she has had the benefit of two barrier trials, finishing second in the latest to prove her well-being. Starting from pole position is a plus. DUNOON finished just over three lengths behind when making his debut over 1100M and returns from a lengthy 47-week break, but he has had the three barrier trials since then and from his gate four, he could spoil the fillies party.

Race 4
In what seems to becoming a pattern, four fillies/mares look capable of completing the quartet here. OUR GIRL BABS drops down to 1300M after finishing a close up fourth last time out over 1700M. She does return from a 11 week rest without having a barrier trial, but she should make her presence felt in this field. EUROGEM won her last outing over 1410M and will be looking to complete the double today. MAID MARILYN has put in two solid efforts over six furlongs. She is draw very wide at gate fifteen, but on the plus side, she will have 3kgs removed from her allocated weight thanks to her claiming apprentice. SEE ME OUT finished third last time out over six furlongs and should not be lightly dismissed here.

Race 5
NASHIAN is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed good improvement when finishing second just a head behind the winner last time out over 1500M. She will get the services of a 3kg claiming apprentice and will jump from gate two. TIME STALKER has a handy draw of four and did win his last outing over seven furlongs. He should be right up there when they hit the line. ROY’S COMMAND is drawn between the top two selections and has consistent formlines to his credit. He drops from the 1700M of his last start to the mile, but this should not present an issue at all. SHY ONE is a 4yr old filly who won her last start over a mile when friendless in the betting. With the three scratchings in the race so far, she will come into draw nine which will help her cause.
Race 6
BROTHER MAGIC has his first run after a 20-week spell rest, but he won and then finished second in his last two outings over six furlongs before the break and despite this wideish draw here, he should be right up there in the mix. ALL ABOUT CHARLIE is a 6yr old mare taking on males. She was a tad disappointing last time out when trying the six furlongs, but drops back to five furlongs today and should do better as a result. The two scratchings do improve her wide draw. GOLD RHAPSODY is a 4yr old filly who put over three lengths between herself and the rest of the field when victorious last time out over this trip. From draw five, she will be hoping to complete the double here. MISS DEVINCI is a 5yr old mare who has consistent form to her name, winning her most recent outing over five furlongs. From her handy draw, she should be considered for all bets.

Race 7
LORD AVATAR has his second run after a 31-week break, but he put in a creditable effort when finishing a close up third over six furlongs in his comeback run. From draw three, he could be the one that they all have to beat here. WICKED WENCH is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed some improvement last time out over six furlongs. She has a wide draw to deal with, but she should be chasing down the frontrunners in the closing stages of the race. ARABOLINI is drawn one outside the latter and he was just 1.7L behind the winner in his last outing over six furlongs. He should appreciate the extra ground on offer here. WAR CAT has an even wider draw to contend with and was a little disappointing last time out over 1300m, but if he is able to recapture some of his better form, he should be considered today.
