Race 1
MISTER KRUMPETS has his first run for his new trainer, but has finished second in his last two outings over this trip and will be hoping to go one better today, starting from gate two. If fully acclimatized in his new surroundings, he may be the one that they all have to beat. ABOARD is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys and she too has her first outing for her new yard. She should be closing in late and looks to be the immediate danger to the former. OILSKIN likes to race up with the pace and a repeat of his penultimate effort over 1300M, would give him some sort of chance here. COCKY ED has fair recent form, but will need to do more if he wants to challenge the top two selections.

Race 2
MANHATTAN MONEY is a 4yr old filly taking on males and returns from a 35-week break. She has her first outing for her new trainer, but her form before the break was solid and her one barrier trial was encouraging. EXPLOSION has his first run back after a 22-week rest, but he won his last barrier trial to confirm his well-being. He will also get 3kgs removed from his back courtesy of his claiming apprentice. FIRST STRIKE is another who returns from a rest, this time 25 weeks. She is a 4yr old filly whose form before the break was reasonable, but she has not had the benefit of a barrier trial and her fitness will have to be taken on trust. HENTY LASS is another 4yr old filly who finished fifth, but just 3L back in her last outing over this distance after coming back from a 31-week break.

Race 3
EXCARO is a 5yr old mare taking on males, but she was an easy winner of her last start over this c&d. She has cracked pole position and looks very hard to oppose here. PARADISE SQUARE followed up his penultimate victory over 1100M with a promising next effort over the c&d. He will be assisted by having 3kgs removed from his allocated weight for the services of his claiming apprentice. BADGE OF COURAGE gets an even bigger 4kg apprentice claim. He didn’t appear to be suited to seven furlongs in his penultimate run, but did put in a better effort last did out when dropping back to six furlongs. WAR JEUNE is seldom too far off the action and should give another good account of himself today.

Race 4
DOUBLE THE PRO won over the c&d when returning from a 28-week rest and from gate four, he should be right up there in the dash down to the line. PASTRY is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys and has her first run after a 25-week break. She did win her last outing over six furlongs before the rest, but she has not had a barrier trial and she may just be short of the run. NEMIROFF returns after 21 weeks and is another who has not had a barrier trial, but he had recorded two solid efforts over six furlongs before the rest and should not be overlooked in this line-up. HAYAN LAD is yet another runner who comes back from a rest, in his case, 25 weeks. He gets a 3kg claiming apprentice in the saddle and has pulled pole position.

Race 5
TAJMALI is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she won her penultimate start over the c&d when returning from a 25-week break. Her next outing over six furlongs was solid and she is likely to ensure that the males known that they have been in a race. KING’S AUTHORITY is drawn in barrier four and is seldom far off the winner. He is likely to be chasing down the frontrunner in the latter stages of the race, aided by his 3kg apprentice allowance. MOONLIGHT’S REWARD has consistent form over this c&d and has drawn pole position. He has to be one of the leading players in this contest. ORACHINO is a 3yr old filly who posted a fair effort last time out over six furlongs and likewise a solid run over 1100M just before that. She needs to be considered in this field.

Race 6
THISORTHAT showed marked improvement in his last outing over this c&d when just failing by under a length to overhaul the winner. He was the subject of some inspired betting support that day and be should be right up there at the business end of affairs today. DALGARANGA did show similar improvement last time out over this c&d, but he has a wide draw to overcome which tips the balance in favour of the former. KNIGHT TEMPEST won his last outing over the c&d and starting from draw three, he has to be a big player here. EASINGTON produced a strong finishing effort to win his last start over seven furlongs and record his maiden victory. He drops in distance and faces stronger today, but he may well be up to the task on hand.

Race 7
MAGNIFORCE won his last start over 1300M and will be looking to complete the double here. He has a wide draw to deal with, but on the plus side, he will get a 3kg claiming apprentice in the irons today. WATTO’S FURY is drawn one outside the former, but he has consistent formlines to his name. He won over six furlongs last time out and steps up to seven furlongs here, but this should not present an issue. NORD AVENIR is a 4yr old filly taking on males. She continues the trend in draws, jumping from one outside the latter. She did, however, finish just 1.5L behind the winner last time out over 1300m and should enjoy the extra ground on offer here. MAJOR MAMBO was slightly below par last time out when stepping up to the mile, but drops back to seven furlongs here and may do better as a result.
