Race 3.
ISOTOPE is a 2yr old filly taking on the boys, but she put ten lengths between herself and the rest of the field when winning on debut over 1100M. She takes a step down in trip here, but from her handy draw, she looks to be the one to side with today. ZINGALONG also won on debut over this c&d and could be the biggest threat to the former. KAVAK was a little disappointing when trying six furlongs last time out and drops back to five furlongs. He gets the blinkers removed and will have 2kgs removed from his back thanks to his claiming apprentice. GOTTA KISS is a 2yr old filly who won her penultimate outing over this trip and a repeat of that effort should see her involved in the finish here.


Race 4.
POPULIST was just beaten a neck last time out over ten furlongs after finding plenty of betting support that day. He steps up to eleven furlongs here and will have 2kgs removed from his allocated weight courtesy of his claiming apprentice. FASTNET CYCLONE is seldom too far off the action, finishing third last time out over ten furlongs. He should have no issue with staying the extra ground. CABOCHON LIL is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she has cracked pole position and was staying on well last time out over ten furlongs, suggesting the greater trip will be to her liking. GALTERO goes the eleven furlongs after not finishing too far back in his last outing over ten furlongs. His cause will be aided by having 2kgs removed from his back for the services of his claiming apprentice.

Race 5.
PROFIT goes back over a mile after finishing just 0.4L behind the winner last time out over 1300M. He found plenty of betting support for that outing and although he has a wide draw to negotiate, be should be right up there in the mix. GREAT POWERS is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys. She was a surprise winner of her last outing over the mile, but if she can confirm the effort, she could threaten the top selection. COASTAL PRINCE has fair recent form and a repeat of his run three starts back over this trip would see him involved in the finish. ALPINE DANCER is another who faces a wide draw, but he won over 1615M three runs back and should be doing his best work late.

Race 6.
BALLISTIC BOY steps up to a mile after a below par last start over 1300m, but his form prior to that last run was solid and he should bounce back here to be a leading contender. EPICURIOUS is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed marked improvement last time out over this c&d and if she has continued along that same path, she could threaten the top selection. STAMPE has a poor draw to deal with, but he should use his early gate speed to move across without using up too much energy. WAPITI climbs up in trip, but if suited to the extra ground, he should be considered in this line-up.

Race 7.
BACCARAT BABY is a 4yr old filly taking on males and has her second outing since a 23 week break. She was just a head behind the winner in her comeback outing over six furlongs and from her handy draw, she should give the boys a good run for their money. SILVERA finished well to win his last start over a mile. He jumps from pole position and should be right up there in the firing line. COOL CHAP narrowly missed out on his hat-trick before going on a 11 week rest, but he put up an encouraging barrier trial and should be considered for all bets. MACEWEN ran on the best of the chasing pack to win his last outing over six furlongs and should not be bothered with the extra distance here.

Race 8.
The original field of twenty-three runners has been reduced to sixteen with the seven scratchings so far, but this has not really made finding the winner much easier. The top choice goes to CONQUER THE STARS who won his penultimate outing over the c&d and followed that up with a solid performance over a mile. From his gate 2 draw, he should be one of the leading contenders today. METAMORPHIC has consistent formlines to his credit and the drop back from the mile of his last outing should not be an issue. FABULONH missed out on his hat-trick last time out over 1300M and will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways here. JEWELIANA is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed improvement in her last outing over 1300M and she should keep the males honest.

Race 9.
TAMBO’S MATE just failed by 0.8L to win his last start over six furlongs when returning from a 17 week break. He found plenty of betting support that day which would suggest that he had been putting in some good work back at home. He should be given another chance today. GUARD OF HONOUR ran on well all the way down to the wire when just over half a length behind the winner last time out over six furlongs. He should not be lightly dismissed here. VEGA ONE returns from a 15 week rest, but has had the one barrier trial to prove his well-being. He has his hat-trick attempt here after winner this last two outings over seven furlongs. If this trip is not too sharp for him, he should be a factor in this field. MISHANI HUSTLER likes to race up with the pace and won using those tactics last time out over six furlongs. He should put in another solid run here.
