South Africa 23/20 | Tie 25/1 | Bangladesh 33/10 (10:30)

Heinrich Klaasen has been massive for the Proteas in the World Cup but in this match the top order need to do more.

Gerald Coetzee put in an impressive turn against England last time out which would have given him confidence.

Bangladesh have lost three straight matches since claiming their opener against Afghanistan.

Mahmudullah has had to do a lot for the Tigers in the middle order and they might ask him to come to their rescue again.

Verdict: South Africa 23/100

The Proteas – high on confidence after that sensational win over England – should cruise past this Bangladeshi side.

Wednesday 25 October

Australia 1/14 | Tie 25/1 | Netherlands 15/2

Australia have rebounded from two losses to start with two wins on the bounce and David Warner’s return to form last time out was timely.

Travis Head might not be ready to return just yet and shouldn’t be rushed in if he isn’t at 100% according to the coaching team.

Australia have a very strong bowling unit and Adam Zampa will have a big part to play in Delhi.

Logan van Beek has been the standout batter in a team that has bowled and fielded very well.

Verdict: David Warner top Australian batsman 33/10

David Warner was sensational against Pakistan. He’s the sort of player who thrives when confidence is high. A good bit of value here.

Thursday 26 October

England 36/100 | Tie 25/1 | Sri Lanka 22/10

England aren’t in total disarray just yet but they need to do something to turn things around, having won just one in four matches.

Dawid Malan has led the scoring for an England team that have not put up the kind of runs that we all know they are capable of in the tournament so far.

Both Sadeera Samarawickrama and Kusal Mendis have scored more runs in this tournament than England’s top scorer and as Sri Lanka’s form batters will be central to the Lankan Lions’ hopes.

Sri Lanka quick Dilshan Madushanka has been the surprise package of the tournament even if he took a pasting in the opener against South Africa.

Verdict: England 36/100

A loss here could prove the death knell for England’s title defence. With their backs up against the wall, back them to come up with the goods.
