PREVIEW: Proteas aim to complete unlikely ODI whitewash against England

South Africa play host to England in the third and final ODI of this series with plenty to play for. While the Proteas have already won the series another win would leave them well placed to avoid a Cricket World Cup qualifier.

To Win Match
South Africa 23/20 | Tie 25/1 | England 72/100

Temba Bavuma’s hundred last time out will be a weight off the skipper’s shoulders as they build towards the World Cup.

David Miller continues to be a reliable finisher for the Proteas and might be the key player in a World Cup tilt.

The bowlers have been good even if they took some tap in the second run in Bloemfontein.

It will be tough to keep the runs down in Kimberley again and we might just be in for another high-scoring affair.

Jos Buttler appeared to be getting a little cranky with the Proteas last time out and the skipper clearly doesn’t like losing.

England have put in decent performances so far but they have been let down by some poor decisions.

Spinners Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid will be key to containing the Proteas in Kimberley, a venue where they have traditionally run riot.

England’s returning players have been out of sorts and the newbies have also floundered under pressure.

Verdict: South Africa 23/20

The Proteas will want this more, and with momentum on their side as well as an automatic World Cup qualification within reach, they should grab the win in Kimberley.
