South Africa vs West Indies | Third T20I | Tuesday 28 March 2023 | The Wanderers, Johannesburg | 18:00

To Win Match
South Africa 47/100 | Tie 25/1 | West Indies 7/4

South Africa can only take confidence from chasing down 258 last time out with Quinton de Kock playing a central role.

De Kock was well-supported by Reeza Hendricks and the effort would be finished off by Aiden Markram and suddenly this Proteas batting lineup looks imposing.

The Wanderers is also expected to be good for batting but tall fast bowlers could still create trouble and Anrich Nortje should come back into the XI.

The bowlers took a lot of punishment but the SuperSport Park pitch offered little for any bowler.

The West Indies have to be gutted to have gone down in the fashion that they did and with a record centurion in their midst.

Johnson Charles’ brutal innings proved to be in vain even if it gives the batter a new West Indies record.

None of their bowlers were able to consistently trouble the batters on the true bouncing pitch.

Their best bowler, Alzarri Joseph, appears to have been ruled out of the remainder of the series with injury.

Verdict: South Africa 47/100

South Africa should be able to capitalise on their momentum and secure the series win.
