India

India have been taken apart by visiting batters at this ground before with New Zealand’s Colin Munro stroking a T20I century here back in 2017.

Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal combined to turn the third T20I in India’s favour.

Ishan Kishan has been consistently brilliant and continues to press his case for a world cup spot.

Rishabh Pant has led well but struggled for form with the bat which may lead some to question whether he will get further opportunities.

South Africa

The Proteas might hope for the return of Quinton de Kock who has scored an ODI hundred at this venue.

South Africa’s long tail wasn’t exposed in the opening two games but they were found wanting in Vizag.

Death bowling continues to be a great concern for the Proteas with Dwaine Pretorius taking some damage in this series in the role.

Still, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen are all in dangerous form and the Proteas have a chance to seal the series.

Verdict: India  57/100

The hosts should pull out all the stops to force a decider.
