It has been tough to pick winners in an unpredictable IPL due to many factors, but we should see the cream rising to the top this week.

It has been tough to pick winners in an unpredictable IPL due to many factors, but we should see the cream rising to the top this week.

There is IPL action every day this week and we are in for some spectacular match-ups.

Monday 11 April

Sunrisers 5/4 | Tie 25/1 | Titans 67/100 (16:00)

It is moving week for the Sunrisers who play catch up in terms of matches played and will want to add to their solitary victory.

The Gujarat Titans are unbeaten heading into the match but, like the Sunrisers, have played fewer matches than the sides above them.

Hardik Pandya has improved his leadership stock no-end with his start to the IPL with the Titans.

The Sunrisers need to find new match-winners with both Rashid Khan and David Warner having left.

The Titans are looking like a real force in this edition of the IPL and should prove too good for the Sunrisers.

Tuesday 12 April

Super Kings 23/20 | Tie 25/1 | Royal Challengers 72/100 (16:00)

CSK haven’t been able to buy a win as yet with four straight losses recorded but will target RCB as a beatable side.

RCB have been decent but lack consistency, particularly when it comes to batting in the powerplay.

Faf du Plessis seems to have imparted a bit more backbone to this side but will be tested when he meets his former team.

Ravindra Jadeja on the other hand has been accused of being distracted in his captaincy.

There’s no way you can feel secure backing the winless and – to a certain extent – rudderless CSK side. Get on the Royal Challenge.

Wednesday 13 April

Indians 81/100| Tie 25/1 | Kings 21/20 (16:00)

Mumbai Indians are also waiting for their first win in the 2022 campaign having failed to adjust to their squad changes.

The Punjab Kings on the other hand have made a positive start and have set themselves up for a playoff push.

Liam Livingstone has been a valuable member of this Punjab Kings side, with explosive batting and a few overs of spin to boot.

The Indians are looking to build new stars including among their overseas players with young Dewald Brevis given his chance to shine.

I reckon the Kings should get over the job done against what has been a disappointing Indians outfit.

Royals | Tie 25/1 | Titans (16:00) *betting tba

The Titans face a big test as they are back in action on Thursday against a Rajasthan Royals team that seem to have a lot going for them.

Jos Buttler has made a brilliant start for the Royals who also have Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer to back up the man who notched the first 100 of the 2022 IPL.

The Royals also have a stacked bowling attack with Trent Boult teaming up with Navdeep Saini and backed up by Yuzvendra Chahal.

Abhinav Manohar has been the standout for the Titans as he stepped up and could be the find of the IPL.

Get on the Titans to make it four out of four here.

Friday 15 April

Sunrisers | Tie | Knight Riders (16:00) *betting tba

The Sunrisers will continue their bid for a revival against another side making an inconsistent start to the IPL.

KKR have threatened to dominate at times while at others, they have fallen off badly, which has seen them win three and lose two to date.

They lean heavily on West Indies all-rounders Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, but Shreyas Iyer has added quality to the top order.

Orange Army fans will be hoping for more explosive batting from their top order after a tame start.

The Knight Riders have shown enough in this edition of the tournament to get one over this very underwhelming Sunrisers side.
