The Super 12s phase of the T20 World Cup will wrap up in the coming days and determine which teams progress to the last four.

Only Pakistan head into the weekend assured of a place in the last four while England, Australia and South Africa chase two places, while New Zealand, Afghanistan and India fight it out to join Babar Azam’s group-toppers in the semi-finals.

Australia vs West Indies | 6 November | Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi | 12:00

To Win Match

Australia 34/100 | Tie 25/1 | West Indies 23/10

The West Indies have been eliminated from the running, ending their title defence in disappointment.

Australia will need to be wary of a West Indies side that will be able to play without any pressure while they will need to look for a big win to keep their second place safe from South Africa.

Aaron Finch’s team could still make the semi-finals even if they lose this match but will want to win to make it hard for South Africa.

The West Indies will bid farewell to Dwayne Bravo and this match could be the last for a few others as well.

Verdict: Australia 34/100

There has been nothing to suggest in this tournament that this ageing Windies side will challenge the Aussies here.

England vs South Africa | 6 November | Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah | 16:00

To Win Match

England 46/100 | Tie 25/1 | South Africa 7/4

England aren’t guaranteed a place in the semi-finals but it will be nearly impossible for South Africa to inflict the kind of defeat necessary to deny them their place in the last four.

Eoin Morgan’s side haven’t been under pressure at all in the tournament but have looked dominant and impressive throughout.

South Africa have been wildly imperfect but they remain in the frame and could yet win through to the knockout stages.

Jos Buttler has been in sublime form and South Africa will want to account for both him and Jason Roy in a hurry.

Verdict: England 46/100

This is likely the end of the road for the Proteas.

New Zealand vs Afghanistan | 7 November 2021 | Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi | 12:00

To Win Match

New Zealand 42/100 | Tie 25/1 | Afghanistan 39/20

New Zealand can clinch their spot in the semi-finals with a victory over Afghanistan which would also eliminate India.

Afghanistan could also sneak into the last four but would rely on beating New Zealand by a large margin then hoping for India to either lose or score a narrow enough win.

New Zealand have been the best of the trio to date but need to finish the job off to make it through to the T20 World Cup semi-finals.

Verdict: New Zealand 42/100

The Black Caps should win here to secure their place in the last four.

Pakistan vs Scotland | 7 November | Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah | 16:00

To Win Match

Pakistan 1/20 | Tie 25/1 | Soctland 10/1

Pakistan are not assured top spot and as such will still need to come out all guns blazing against the eliminated Scots.

We are also unlikely to see changes with Pakistan keen to keep their momentum going.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been brilliant for Pakistan and this could be another exhibition of their talents.

Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has also been one of the players of the tournament to date and could run riot on a struggling Scotland top order.

Verdict: Pakistan 1/20

Pakistan will win. For more value, look at taking A Fifty To Be Scored in the Match: YES at 43/100.

India vs Namibia | 8 November | Dubai International Stadium | 16:00

To Win Match

India 1/33 | Tie 25/1 | Namibia 13/1

India might be eliminated before they take the field against Namibia but if they are in the hunt they will know exactly what they need to do to sneak through.

Namibia have fizzled out a little but will nonetheless take pride from the way they have performed.

David Wiese and JJ Smit have advertised their hitting power to franchise teams, and we could hear more from both despite Wiese’s advanced age.

Virat Kohli has struggled for form and couldn’t get much time out in the middle last time out after a dominant start by Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

Verdict: India 1/33

There’s only one winner here. For a bit more value, take India to secure a higher first wicket stand at 2/7.
