Weather Curtails Much of Day Two in Oudtshoorn

Durban – A shortened day on Tuesday in Oudtshoorn saw the WSB Cape Cobras end on 254 for six in their 4-Day Domestic Series match with the Hollywoodbets Dolphins. 


A large part of the afternoon session was lost to weather as the Dolphins continued to peg away at the hosts who were resilient in their pursuit of a first innings lead.

Simon Khomari top scored for the Cobras with 68 while David Bedingham was dismissed for 37 and Aviwe Mgijima chipped in with 36.

From a bowling perspective, Senuran Muthusamy and Prenelan Subrayen bagged three wickets and two wickets respectively while Daryn Dupavillon took one.

At the close of play the Cobras finished with 256 for four, a lead of eighty runs going into the penultimate day on Wednesday.
