Delhi Daredevils to beat the Mumbai Indians at 11/10
The Delhi Daredevils came into this tournament as rank outsiders, and for good reason. They haven’t got the most star-studded squad in the competition and probably rely far too much on Quinton de Kock – who for all intents and purposes has been sensational so far this season. The Mumbai Indians have got off to a pretty shoddy start, only winning two of their opening five games. All of the momentum is with the Delhi franchise at the moment, and with de Kock firing on all cylinders, they should have the beating of the reigning champions on Saturday.
Anthony Martial as an anytime scorer at 2/1
Manchester United and Everton will go head to head in the first FA Cup semi-final on Saturday afternoon. Both teams have endured pretty poor seasons by their standards and will be desperate to lift the FA Cup in a bid to keep their fans onside. While I think United will win the game fairly comfortably, there is definitely a bit of value here for Marital as an anytime scorer. The mercurial Frenchman seems to turn it on for the big games and could well find himself on the scoresheet against a very wobbly Everton defence. Get on at 2/1.
Crusaders to beat the Brumbies at 11/10
Sunday’s only Super Rugby game will see an ever-improving Crusaders side travel to the Australian Capital Territories to take on a faltering Brumbies outfit. The New Zealand side have been impressing in recent weeks and look to be back to their formidable best, claiming six wins on the trot. By contrast, the Brumbies have been indifferent this season, especially against the better sides. Heavy losses against the Stormers and the Chiefs in recent weeks have shown just how vulnerable Stephen Larkham’s side can be. The Crusaders look great value here to claim the win here.
