The Europa League enters its fifth week this coming Thursday, and with time fast running out for teams to stake a claim for a place in the last 32, things are starting to get a bit heated in the competition.
Bellow we’ll take a look at the pick of the rounds action and try to find some great value bets for you to back.
FC Krasnodar 32/10

Borrusia Dortmund 15/20
This Group C clash will see second placed Krasnodar take on group leaders Borussia Dortmund at the Krasnodar Stadium. Dortmund have been in fine fettle this season, although this was to be expected. The Germans have a squad that could easily make the last 8 of the Champions League. They have pace, power and are brilliant at keeping their structure. Their opponents Krasnodar will do well to keep the likes of Marco Reus and Shinji Kagawa from making an appearance on the goalscorers’ sheet. I’m not even going to try and pretend that I’ve seen a lot of Krasnodar in action. I watched their first half display against Dortmund in the reverse fixture and they looked quite an aggressive bunch, who live to make a tackle. They did lose said reverse fixture by a 2-1 scoreline but they didn’t make the German side’s task easy. They may be away from home to quite a feisty side, but my money is on Dortmund getting the win.
Qarabag FK 29/10

Tottenham Hotspur 1/1
There may only be two rounds left to play in the group stage, but things are still wide open in Group J. Group leaders Tottenham will travel to Baku in Azerbaijan, to take on the impressive Qarabag FK. The hosts have truly punched above their weight in this tournament. They defeated Anderlecht 1-0 in the second week of the competition and managed to hold Monaco to a 1-1 draw last time out. Despite Qarabag’s impressive home form, I just can’t see them beating this Spurs side. Back the away team to leave Azerbaijan with the full compliment of points at 1/1.

Ajax Amsterdam 37/20
With group leaders Molde having already qualified and Fernabache four points away from doing the same, it’s going to be a case of do or die for these two sides when they square off at Celtic Park this Thursday. Celtic sit at the foot of group A with only two points to their name while Ajax occupy third spot- only a solitary point ahead of the Scottish giants. Celtic are yet to taste victory in this year’s edition of the tournament. Their two log points have come from draws in the reverse fixture against Ajax and in week 3 against Fernabache. The Scot’s will be given a stiff test at home but should be able to pass it. Back the home side to claim the spoils at 14/10.
Monaco 17/20

Anderlecht 77/20
This looks like a really tasty clash. Monaco occupy second spot in the group and are only two points behind the leaders, Tottenham. Anderlecht’s situation is far more dire than that of the men from the French principality. The Belgian giants sit at the foot of the log on four points. Although, a win here could see them top the group if other results go their way. Both sides have scored 5 goals from the 4 fixtures they’ve played thus far, so we could well be in for a high scoring affair here. With that in mind, I’d highly recommend backing the ‘Over 2.5 Goals- Yes’ market at 19/20.
