The ex Sean Tarry trained MEET ME AT MANOS returns to the track after a year’s absence. The 4yr old bay filly had placed twice on the former Vaal sand track. The lightly raced daughter of Seventh Rock showed good pace in both her placed runs. Her new conditioner Duncan McKenzie has decided to fit a set of blinkers to his charge and must be confident of a big run at the weaker centre.
Race 3: DELICIOUS DAMOWIN(6)
Jockey: Muzi YENI – Trainer: Kumaran NAIDOO
KZN trainer Kom Naidoo raids with his 6yr old bay gelding DELICIOUS DAMOWIN. The son of Hussonet was reported to be not striding out in his below par last run over 1200m at the Greyville Polytrack two weeks ago. Prior to that the gelding was holding form well. It is interesting to note that jockey Muzi Yeni has been the pilot many times and knows his charge extremely well.

Jockey: Marco VAN RENSBURG – Trainer: Cliffie MILLER
SEATTLE SUNSET has found top form and is versatile with tactics. The 5yr old bay gelding was a runaway winner over this course & distance in his penultimate start, defeating Ford Country by eight lengths. Stable jockey Marco V/Rensburg climbs back on board and the pair will have every chance from draw 1.
Race 7: FIRST SIGN(10)
Jockey: Lyle HEWITSON – Trainer: Bill HUMAN
This is a very tricky Merit Rated 62 Handicap & it will be wise to go wide in the exotics. The narrow first selection is FIRST SIGN from the Bill Human yard. The 5yr old bay gelding was a well beaten 3rd behind runaway winner Diesel Engine over this course and distance three weeks ago. The son of Count Dubois was docked a pound and finally cracks a top draw. Promising Lyle Hewitson has been engaged for the ride & the pair could get much closer to the action this time around.
Race 9: KARTOUCHE(10)
Jockey: Calvin NGCOBO – Trainer: Dennis CARSON
KARTOUCHE had a promising post maiden run over this course and distance finishing 2nd behind JOZI BABE four weeks ago. In form apprentice Calvin Ngcobo rides and the 4yr old bay filly will be hunting for her second career win and could reverse the two length deficit with JOZI BABE (3kgs worse off).
