There were wins for New Zealand, France, England, Georgia, Italy and Wales on matchday three of the World Rugby U20 Championship in France.
In the early pool games, Wales beat Japan 18-17 thanks to Harri Morgan and Dewi Cross’ tries but have missed out on claiming a semi-final place.
Italy also missed out, despite beating Argentina 30-26 with a bonus-point, as they finish one point behind South Africa in the best runner-up race.
Elsewhere, Georgia stunned Ireland 24-20, which is their third loss of the campaign which sees them rooted to the bottom of Pool C, Georgia finish third.
England secured a bonus-point 35-10 victory over Scotland to secure a place in the semi-finals where they will face South Africa, who lost 46-29 to France. The French will meet New Zealand in their semi-final as the Baby Blacks overcame Australia 27-18 in Thursday’s other game.
