FAIRY HORSE finished runner-up in his comeback effort behind the progressive Packing Power. He comes in with a light weight and could be one to cause an upset. TALENTS SUPREMO has fair recent form under Karis Teetan. He has cracked a neat draw and is capable of winning a race of this nature.

CAN’T GO WONG has consistent form to his credit. He reunites with Alex Badel and the combination merit healthy respect. WINNING STEPS showed signs of needing his comeback run behind Forever Glorious. He will strip much fitter and it is encouraging that Karis Teetan has kept faith in the ride. FOREMOST TEDDY is next best.
15:10 – Race 5 | Class 3 | 1650m

SAMARKAND finished close-up behind the winner in his comebackrun. Zac Purton has picked up the ride and the combination will have plenty of followers. CHAIN OF GOLD won well in his last start before the break. He stays every inch of the mile journey and should give the top selection a good run for his money.

MATSU VICTOR finished just under a length behind BRAVE WITNESS in his penultimate start. He is slightly worse off at the weights and may have to settle for the same result. SUPER UNICORN has cracked a neat draw and he can make an encouraging return to the races.

AURORA LADY finished 1.5 lengths behind SPICY GOLD in his penultimate start. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. The Douglas Whyte-trained SHINKANSEN produced a fair comeback run behind Perfect General. He will strip much fitter and can run into trifectas.

HEROIC MASTER finished 2.8 lengths behind YOUTHFUL SPIRITS last time. He is 5.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. The grey RED ELEGANCE finished half a length behind ATOMIC FORCE last time. He is nicely weighted and must also be strongly considered in the lucky last!
