LeBron James R2 Billion Lakers Move


After 11 years at Cleveland, LeBron James leaves for the LA Lakers in a four year $154 million deal. 


Well known as King James, LeBron was a loyal servant to the Cavaliers and led them to their first NBA Championship title in 2016 since the clubs inception.

After losing the NBA finals in three occasions against the Golden State Warriors in 2015, 2017, and 2018, James took some time for introspection to decide where his next career move would be.

In a move orchestrated by former Lakers player and current President of Basketball Operations at the Lakers, Magic Johnson. With an attempt to bring the Lakers back to its glory days, the team that won 16 NBA Championships, the second most titles in NBA history after the Boston Celtics.

Johnson paid a visit to James’ home in LA, attracting him to the idea of being part of the rise of the Lakers, a feat James is now accustomed to after winning three titles, twice with the Heat and once with the Cavaliers.

And with his family home in Los Angeles, the Superstar looks set to retire in LA.

We could see some of the most historic basketball seasons in the coming next few years.
