As we enter the business end of the American League Championship – The Houston Astros and the New York Yankees are only four games away from cruising into the World Series final.
New York Yankees 13/20 vs Houston Astros 11/10 (23:09)
The Yankees gained an 8 – 1 win in New York after the Astros snatched their first two home matches To lead the series 2 – 1 with 7 games to be played.
“All Rise” as Aaron Judge was a talking point in his side’s victory, he was aided by pitcher CC Sabathia who finished an ERA of 1.74 from the last seven days and 5 strikeouts against the Astros. Judged smashed a three-run homer and made two outfield catches with one saw him crashing into a wall.
The Yankees flourished in the second and third innings and scored three and five runs respectively. The Yankees need to capitalize on their next three games at home and hope they clinch one game six or seven on Houston turf.
The Astros should be worried about their offence as they’ve scored five runs three games, and their costly pitching on game three that handed the Yankees point deficit win.
Verdict: New York Yankees 13/20
The Yankees destroyed the Astros pitching last time out and the home crowd seemed to revive the Aaron Judge who suffered a slump after he won the Homerun derby title.
