Looking to register with Hollywoodbets? You’re in luck! Creating an account is as simple as filling out and submitting a registration form. Here we’ll take a look at this process:
So, where do you start? Head over to this page and fill out the registration form. Once you’ve successfully completed the form and clicked on the submit button, our third-party verification service will verify your details and your account will be created.
If your details can’t be verified, you will be requested to send in your FICA documents (ID and Proof of residence. See our FICA checklist at the bottom of this article for more info.
A successful registration will see an SMS sent to the phone number that entered during the registration process. This SMS will contain your username and password. Head over to our mobisite and enter your username (this will be your account number or the cellphone number you used to register) and the password contained in the SMS you received earlier. Agree to our Terms and Conditions and click log in.
You will notice that you have a free R25 sign-up bonus waiting for you in your account. Remember, this bonus has to be used within 24 hours of opening your account otherwise it will be forfeit. You can learn more about the R25 sign-up bonus by clicking here.

Proof of Identity Check List:
- ID copy, or Passport
- A driver’s license will only be accepted as a supporting document for customers who only have a temporary ID or their ID documents is damaged.
- Identity Documents must be clear i.e. the information and photo must be visible.
- Please provide a colour copy or clear photograph of the document as shown below.
- Remember, if you’re using a Smart ID Card, to send through a picutre of both the front and back.
Proof of Address Check List:
- Initials on the proof of address must correspond with the ID book
- A client proof of address must contain the residential address only (Postal address not acceptable)
- Proof of address must have a date (If it does not contain a date it will not be accepted)
- If a client stays with their parent/renting, the parent must fill in a confirmation form stating that they reside with the client/renting. This form must be accompanied by proof of residence under the owner of the residence.
Accepted proof of address: - Utility Bill (less than 3 months old)
- Bank statement (Less than 3 months old)
- A lease or rental agreement (Less than 1-year-old)
- A municipal rate & taxes invoice (less than 3-months-old)
- Mortgage statement (less than 6 months old)
- Telephone account or other fixed-line provider (less than 3 months old)
- An official tax return (less than 1-year-old)
- A recent life insurance policy issued by an insurance company (Less than 1 year)
- Recent correspondence from a body corporate or share-block association (Less than 1 year)
- A valid television license document (Less than 1 year)
- A registered residential address confirmation inserted in the customers Identity Documents
- Recent motor vehicle license or documentation (Less than 1 year)
- A letter from a Municipal authority confirming that an individual is permitted to reside on communal land (Less than 3 months)
If you currently live with someone, and your proof of residence is in someone else’s name, you will need to fill out a Co-Habitation Form and submit with your FICA documents.
