French Footballer Karim Benzema could best be described as swift and accurate in the moves he makes on the field. The immeasurably talented Striker has only given a powerful performance throughout the soccer season and his career and still remains one of the best in the world of football.
The Real Madrid Striker’s career fledged when he joined his hometown club Bron Terraillon SC at just the age of eight and was seen to have great potential and skill.
In 1996, he went on to join Olympique Lyonnais, which was the biggest club in the city and, thereafter, got into the club’s youth academy and has not stopped growing and succeeding since. He then made his professional debut in the 2004–2005 season, appearing occasionally in his first three seasons as Lyon won three titles in that duration. He reached a breakthrough in the 2007-2008 season when he became a starter as he scored over 30 goals seeing Lyon win its seventh straight league title.
Benzema’s career graduated July 2009, when Lyon reached an agreement with the Spanish club Real Madrid for the transfer of Benzema and he signed a 6-year contract with Real Madrid. The Striker’s powerful style of play and vast goal-scoring ability has seen him score 21 goals for Real Madrid’s last season, helping guide the team to its first La Liga title since 2017. This weekend’s match against Man City saw Benzema do what he does best when he scored a great goal, leveling the score and helping the club recover from an error by Raphael Varane which had Man City at 1-0. It is without a doubt that Benzema is one of Real Madrid’s wisest decisions and a great investment for the club.
Although Karim Benzema is well known for his soccer skills and booming career. He is also a husband and father to two, six-year-old Mélia and three-year-old Ibrahim. Benzema believes that his Islamic faith and his family are what keep him at the top of his game, sharing moments of fatherhood with his fans on his Instagram profile, showing the bond and love he carries for his family. The 31 year is also considered a fashion icon to some with his fresh fashion style being a reference for many who like his style of clothing. The Footballer sees his life after football as more time to spend with his family as well as seeing his hobby for watches become a career. In my opinion, Benzema has it all and is still to rise, taking Real Madrid further.
