We are proud sponsors of this year’s “We Are One Festival” and here is everything you need to know about the event taking place at Princess Magogo Stadium this weekend.
This is a social cohesion initiative aimed at breaking racial barriers between the Phoenix, Inanda, Ntuzuma, KwaMashu and Newlands communities. It is backed by people like the former minister, Jeff Radebe and philanthropist Vivian Reddy who will be part of it from start to finish.
Heroes from KwaMashu such as Siboniso Pa Gaxa, Edmund Mhlongo and Leleti Khumalo to mention a few, will be honoured for their contribution towards putting the township on the map.
In terms of the eagerly-anticipated football legends game, expect to see the likes of Vusumuzi “Kanu” Vilakazi, Tshepo Ntsoane, Joel Faya, Siyabonga “Nsimbi” Sangweni and many other veterans in action.
The vent takes place on Saturday 15 June and Sunday 16 June 2019 and kicks off with a fun run from Rydavale, Phoenix to Princess Magogo Stadium.
