Where The Money Was At!

A-review-of-Hollywoodbets-writer's-tips

Another enthralling weekend of sporting action has just passed and for some, it was an extremely profitable one.

We’ve decided to take a look back at the past weekend’s action and see which of our tipsters were on the mark and who was off the boil!

Golf
It was a fantastic weekend for our golf tipster Brenton Chelin who managed to tip the winner as well as one of the players who finished in the top five places at the Open de France. Brenton tipped 60/1 shot Thongchai Jaidee as one of his each way picks as well as Martin Kaymer. Jaidee cantered to a four-shot victory while Kaymer managed to finish tie 5th.

Make sure you check out Brenton’s previews this week!

Cycling
Our in-house writer Jason Dewey got his Tour de France preview campaign off to an absolute blinder. The fan of all things two wheeled and non-motorised, backed Isle of Man native Mark Cavendish to claim the stage one win at 8/1. And would you know it, the Team Dimension man came good!

Make sure you continue to follow Jason’s tips as he will be covering most of the Tour de France!

Rugby
It was a bit of a so-so weekend for our in-house rugby writer who only managed to pick five of the nine round 15 Super Rugby fixtures right. He hasn’t been very talkative today, but he has mentioned that his Jaguares to beat the Bulls at 21/20 tip was one of the shouts of the weekend. We are trying to go easy on him today, so we’ll let him have that one!

He may be enduring a bit of a poor run of form, but he fancies he’ll redeem himself this weekend. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for his two Round 16 previews that will be published later this week.

Football
Our football writers had a bit of a miserable one this weekend going one from four with their Euro 2016 quarter-final picks. They will be back in action mid-week and have assured us that they’ve got some solid bets for the semi-finals.

Formula One
Due to our regular F1 guru going a short sabbatical our current rugby writer and former F1 scribe, Darry Worthington, took over the Formula One preview duties for the Austrian Grand Prix. His Formula One form was almost identical to that of his rugby, with the Ferrari fan going two from four with his picks. He does deserve a bit of leeway here as if it weren’t for Lewis Hamilton’s rather abrasive overtaking attempt during the final lap of the Grand Prix, Darry’s picks for the fastest  lap, winning driver, and first qualifier may well have come in.

Regular service will resume this week with Matthew Molver returning to cover Sunday’s British Grand Prix!
