Where The Money Was At!

A-review-of-Hollywoodbets-writer's-tips

Another enthralling weekend of sporting action has just passed and for some, it was an extremely profitable one.

We’ve decided to take a look back at the past weekend’s action and see which of our tipsters were on the mark and who was off the boil!

Cycling
It was a bit of a disappointing weekend for our cycling scribe as only one of his four tips arrived. He got off to a positive backing Mark Cavendish to come good during stage four of the Tour de France. The Team Dimension Data man managed to take stage honors and returned a healthy profit having been priced at 9/2.

Unfortunately, though, our writer’s weekend form seemed to desert him from this point in. He has assured us that he’s got a few winners in the bag for this week, so make sure you keep an eye out for his Tour de France previews.

Football
Our football writers put in rather a sub-par performance this week with only one of their three Euro 2016 tips coming in. There are very few smiles floating around the football department this morning with most of them having laid decent stakes on France to win last night’s final.

With the Euros now over, our boys will enjoy a couple weeks off from the tipping but keep an eye out for all the latest club transfer news over on the Soccer Betting News Website — > SBN News

Formula 1
Matthew Molver made a solid return from his week off by tipping Lewis Hamilton to win the British Grand Prix. Matt missed his other two tips with Nico Rosberg unable to claim pole and Sebastian Vettel, who he had tipped to secure a podium finish, having a miserable weekend out in Silverstone.

Matt will be back in a week’s time to offer his betting advice for the Austrian Grand Prix.

Golf
Commodore Vegas’ form deserted him this week with his Scottish Open tips failing to arrive. The golf scribe, who had been on a red-hot run of form, tipped four golfers with huge prices affixed to the names but was left disappointed with only one of his four picks finishing in the top 40.

The old adage of form being temporary and class being permanent is exactly how we feel about Commodores’s tipping qualities. Make sure you check out his preview for the Open Championship as he’s likely to bounce back in a big way!

Horse Racing
Our horse racing tipster, eMeM, had a weekend to remember going three from five at Turffontein, three from five at Kenilworth, and four from five at Scottsville. While a few of his tips only managed to place, he did pick out some extremely profitable winners including Gift of Rain (57/10) at Kenilworth, Heavenly Blue (2/1) at Turffontein, and Seventh Moment (45/10) at Scottsville.

Make sure you check out eMeM’s daily horse racing tips on our blog.

Rugby
While it can’t be considered a real return to form, our rugby writer did manage to tip six out of the nine weekend Super Rugby fixtures. He was let down on Friday by a last minute Southern Kings’ try which saw the Lions just miss out on clearing the -39.5 handicap. His Saturday tips were also decent if not spectacular with the Waratahs letting him down in their game against the Hurricanes and the Cheetahs unable to keep the losing margin within a +9.5 handicap against the Sharks.

Darry will be looking to finish the round robin phase of Super Rugby strongly this week, so make sure you keep an eye out for his two previews!
