The Dodgers will host the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the World Series on the 1st of November.
LA Dodgers 8/10 vs Houston Astros 19/20
With the Houston Astros just one victory away from securing their first ever World Series title, the Dodgers will have all to play for to push the series into a game seven decider.
After an incredible rally to overcome 4 – 0, 7 – 4, and 8 – 7 deficits, the Astros’ game winner – Alex Bergman can recall a moment in the dugout where they decided to go out, have fun, and play loose as they had their backs against the wall. A ploy that worked, and saw them win 13 -12 after a 10th inning hit from Bergman helped Fisher slide in to score.
Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa were once again instrumental in the teams Game Five triumph as the hitters back to back hits inspired the Texans to a valiant team effort comeback.
The Dodgers will be disappointed as pitcher Clayton Kershaw didn’t come to the party, as he finished off with a poor 5.40 ERA. The Dodgers caught a light when they went up 3-0 at the top firstt inning. The two sides traded blows but a brilliant top 10th inning pitching performance saw Joe Musgrove not concede a run, and subsequently put the ball into the Astros court, allowing the Astros to stun the Dodgers.
Verdict: Houston Astros 19/20
My bet will stick with the Astros pulling off their first ever franchise World series title. Their offensive leaders and with the start of Verlander with the ball, should be enough to seal the deal in Los Angeles.
