The daughter of Trippi would have gained from the experience and will enjoy the step up in distance. If not too green around the turn, she can go one better here.
Race 2: YOU KNOW WHO (11)
Jockey: Fourie R – Trainer: Snaith J
YOU KNOW WHO ran a decent race on debut over 1000m at Kenilworth. He showed pace, understandably raced green but found one too good in the form of Safe Return. The son of What A Winter would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra distance on offer. He does not meet the strongest field today and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.
Race 5: ONE WAY TRAFFIC (3)
Jockey: Fourie R – Trainer: Snaith J
ONE WAY TRAFFIC showed good improvement when finishing second in his first run as a gelding. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. It must be noted that Attorney General has come out and won again since. The son of Dynasty should strip a much fitter horse this afternoon and can go one better.
Race 6: BLACK SILVER (4)
Jockey: Fourie R – Trainer: Snaith J
BLACK SILVER has finished second in both her post maiden efforts. She raced from a handy position last time and found another kick in the closing stages. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. The daughter of Silvano will be at home over today’s distance and can get back to winning ways.

MA BLACK’S last two starts against stronger company have been fair. The daughter of What A Winter has dropped to a competitive rating and meets the right field today. Aldo Domeyer steps back into the saddle and if putting her best foot forward, she can get back to winning ways.
