Race 2: HERODUS(4)
Race 3: REDIAL(11)
Race 4: DRAGONAIR(2)
Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 3: LOVE HAPPENS(8)
Jockey:  Bernard FAYD’HERBE – Trainer: Justin SNAITH
LOVE HAPPENS had a promising debut over six furlongs at Kenilworth recently despite a few obstacles. The well-bred son of Silvano raced in snatches after a slow start that day but would have come on appreciably from the experience and he should relish this extra furlong. The experienced BERNIE is having his eighth career start and he has firmly found his best form in recent efforts. He found one too good for him over a mile recently but will prefer this shorter trip and is a huge contender from his good raw.

TOP BET
Race 4: DRAGONAIR(2)
Jockey:  Calvin NGCOBO – Trainer: Candice BASS-ROBINSON

DRAGONAIR benefitted from the 12 week break as she made huge improvement when finishing strongly for a close 3rd in a competitive field over this trip at Kenilworth two weeks ago. The Alado filly should strip fitter today and she can shape from another good barrier.

Race 6: REBEL’S IDOL(8)
Jockey: Louis BURKE- Trainer: Paul REEVES
REBEL’S IDOL escaped without a penalty due to the technicality after she ran on smartly for a close 3rd over this c & d in a similar field a week ago and her conditioner has now engaged a 4kgs claiming apprentice who notched up his first career victory ten days ago. The chestnut mare is extremely well weighted and she holds strong claims if jumping on terms. Interestingly though, apprentice Balloo seems to have opted for the three-year old REGAL RUBY whom he partnered recently as well.

Race 7: GREENFLASHSUNSET(3)
Jockey:  Bernard FAYD’HERBE- Trainer: Justin SNAITH
GREENFLASHSUNSET built on his promising comeback run when he finished strongly to outdo his stable companion Hithimagainchuck at Kenilworth recently and his track experience should be key in this very similar contest. The four-year old can defy the three pound penalty on his peak run and can follow up.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY
Race 5: SILVER DE LANGE(7)
Jockey:  Anthony ANDREWS – Trainer: Willem A NEL
The lightly raced well-bred Silvano gelding, SILVER DE LANGE has progressed smartly since going over ground and being equipped with blinkers. He ran on smartly to record a fluent last maiden victory over a similar distance and could still be ahead of the handicapper despite the resultant four pound penalty. The bay could be equal to this mammoth task on his handicap debut and can make his low mass count.
