Punters’ Challenge prize money bonanza on Hollywoodbets Durban July day 2024
The curtain came down on the 2024 Hollywoodbets Durban July as Corne Spies piloted Chocolate Soldier home in the 12th beneath the Greyville lights. Not long after, a share of R504 000 was paid out to the top 100 players on the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge leaderboard, with a further R250 000 shared by four players who each tipped seven winners on the card.
A player who goes by the alias Cape Town topped the points leaderboard, winning R200 000 while Azeem, Jo the best, Did it again and Bala 7 all picked seven winners on the day, sharing the R250 000 prize. Take a look at the breakdowns for each of the prize pools below:
R504 000 shared between the top 100
As mentioned earlier, the top 100 on the leaderboard shared a total of R504 000. Worth noting that the player Prish was the only one on this list who qualified for the bet slip bonus, thus doubling his prize from R4 000 to R8 000.

Most winners: four share R250 000
Finding seven winners on such a tough card is no mean feat, but four players did just that. In doing so, Azeem, Jo the best, Did it again and Bala 7 each secured themselves R62 500.

The Punters’ Challenge has created a magnitude of winners over the last few years, with daily must-be-won prizes and the big daddy – the all-or-nothing prize. The latter requires you to pick all of the winners on the card.
For local race meetings, the all-or-nothing prize is determined by all of the runners at the meeting multiplier by R10 000. For example, if there are 90 horses carded to run and seven are scratched, the all-or-nothing prize will be based on 83 runners which would equate to R830 000 as the prize. The prize is set at R500 000 for Singapore and Hong Kong meetings.
To sweeten the deal, both the all-or-nothing AND the must-be-won prizes will be doubled on South African meetings if you’ve had a bet to the value of R50 or more using the Bet Slip Feature.
