Winning Form - Horse Racing - Best Bets and Tips

Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: LILAC SENSATION (1)
Race 2: THOMAS HENRY (5)
Race 7: SOQRAT (3)
Race 9: CLIFTON CRUSHER (3)

Race 4: KASIMIR (1)

Jockey:R Fourie – Trainer: J Snaith

KASIMIR returns from a 24-week rest, but his trainer certainly knows how to bring them back ready to win on their return to racing. He has not finished further back than second in five starts over this c&d and stable jockey Richard Fourie retains the ride this afternoon.

Race 5: BELGARION (6)
Jockey: R Fourie – Trainer: J Snaith

BELGARION returns from a 15-week rest but is lightly raced, only having had the six starts to date. He clearly has some ability as his record of four wins and a third-place finish will confirm. Jumping from a handy draw, he could add to his win tally here.

Race 6: QUEEN SUPREME (8)
Jockey: C Murray – Trainer: M de Kock

QUEEN SUPREME has her first run in CT, but if she is able to reproduce her run in the Summer Cup, she should be right up there when they reach the wire. She jumps from a mid-field draw and Callan Murray retains the ride.

TOP BET FOR TODAY
Race 7: HAWWAAM (4)

Jockey: A Marcus – Trainer: M de Kock

HAWWAAM will attempt his sixth win on the bounce and his ninth overall victory. His two runs after the disappointment of his scratching down at the start of the Vodacom Durban July when fitted with earmuffs have been eye-catching and he should once again be the one that they all have to beat here. He starts from pole position and Anton Marcus retains the ride.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY
Race 8: CHROME YELLOW (8)
Jockey: G Cheyne – Trainer: W Nel

The DHARMA formline over this c&d may be a good pointer in determining the outcome of this race and CROME YELLOW should be able to reverse that result. The gelding finished 0.2L behind the former, but is 1.5kgs better off at today’s weights. He starts from gate three and Greg Cheyne will be on board once again.
