TILLIEANGUS was making good late progress in his last start despite being brushed at the 200m mark. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Silvano tries the ten furlongs for the first time, but the manner in which he finished off his last start suggests that he should have no problems with the distance. Richard Fourie knows him well and the pair could find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

This is a competitive race to end the day’s programme and trainer Brett Crawford could close off the meeting by saddling the trifecta. SUPER SILVANO challenged all the way to the line in his last start after setting the pace. He finished just a head behind stable companion COUNT JACK that day and is 0.5kgs better off at the weights.
