IDEAL MAN has only had the one run, that was over ten furlongs, where he stayed on despite hanging in the closing stages. He steps up to twelve furlongs here, but he might enjoy the greater test of stamina. He must be respected with Warren Kennedy in the irons.

RONNIE’S CANDY ran on strongly to win her last start over a mile and her recent form is decent. She drops down to seven furlongs but has recorded a win and a third-place finish from four starts over the distance. She should be picking off the frontrunners in the dash down to the line.

MARSHALL FOCH has his second run after a rest. He set the pace in his last outing over this distance and then just kept going to hold off the chasing pack. Both of his wins have been posted over this distance.

The Sean Tarry stable looks to have a strong hand in this race and he could fill two of the top three places. IN CAHOOTS was running on well in his last start over a mile and with Warren Kennedy up, the gelding could cause the upset.
