A thrilling and competitive ten-race programme is scheduled for Chantilly on Wednesday with good to soft underfoot conditions predicted.
The best bet is HURRICANE CLOUD in Race 4. He showed some real potential on debut at Saint-Cloud and looks to have the scope to go on and make it back-to-back victories this afternoon.

Race 1
The first two events are filled with unraced juveniles and the betting market should be closely followed. VALDARANN gets Soumillon in the saddle and he is a two-year-old colt by Siyouni out of Valdaya. PUNTA CANAILLE is a juvenile by Dabirsim out of Egypt Moon and he gets a talented rider aboard. The Irish bred EGOT is a son of Invincible Spirit out of Entertains and if not too green in the running, then he shouldn’t be too far off the action.
Race 2
VADALIYA is a daughter of Maxios out of Vadiya. Any betting support for her in the market would suggest that she is showing good work back at home. ROUGIR wasn’t a cheap purchase and on her pedigree she should be respected in this juvenile contest. She is a daughter of Territories out of Summer Moon and any market support for her needs to be respected. The Irish bred KING’S HARLEQUIN gets Pasquier in the saddle and if fit she may be able to pose a threat to the top selection.
Race 3
IL DECAMERONE and MARRAKECH EXPRESS were only separated by two lengths last time out and they are set to fight out the finish of this contest. The weights suggest that the latter can finish much closer and should make much more of a race of it this time around. CRESSIDA was only beaten by a neck in her last start and it is encouraging that Bachelot retains the ride this afternoon.
Race 4
HURRICANE CLOUD found plenty support on debut when winning by just over a length. He will look to keep his unbeaten record intact this afternoon and with Guyon now in the saddle, he may be take a power of beating in this contest. The Irish bred PISANELLO featured at this level last time out and will benefit from jumping in pole this afternoon. He performs like a star under Piccone and looks a serious threat to the top selection. IRSHAD is also unbeaten but does have a bit of a question mark with regards to his fitness since he returns from a seven-month layoff.
Race 5
The unbeaten VADSENA had backed favourite followers in both of her starts dispatching her opposition in impressive fashion. Soumillon jumps aboard her the first time and that will enhance her chances in this contest. The German-bred MOON A LISA was only beaten a head in her comeback run at Toulouse and with Peslier in the saddle, she looks like the obvious threat to the top selection. GEMCUTTER has placed in his last three starts and can run into the places again.
Race 6
The grey MOZZARELLA didn’t disgrace herself last time when she went for the hat-trick of wins. She narrowly failed in that effort to be beaten just over a length by Saiga and has a chance to make amends this afternoon. It must be noted that this back-to-back triumphs came with Crastus in the saddle. CONTROL TOWER had a long rest after her debut win and will have strengthed during the break. She may have come on leaps and bounds during that period. AMERICAN APPLES is consistent and she made a positive return after a break. She can run into the places of this contest.
Race 7
SILVER QUARTZ will strip much fitter for this contest having his second run after a rest. That comeback effort was in a Group 3 and should be a massive runner in this type of field. PERSIAN KING and MAGNY COURS return from significantly long breaks but the Fabre stable will have them fit and they are the biggest dangers to the top selection. QUEEN is a filly taking on males. She won her maiden under Guyon and could find a form return in this field.
Race 8
The chestnut ZITAN is in search of a hat-trick of wins this afternoon. He has partnered superbly with Piccone and the pair will be tough to peg back in the closing stages of this contest. SEA WINGS was only beaten just under two lengths last time out at Saint-Cloud in his comeback run and looks the obvious threat to the top selection. SPEED’S ADDICT will strip much fitter for this contest and will have no issues seeing out this type of distance.
Race 9
This is a wide-open handicap where some caution is advised. ROCK BLANC was only beaten just under a length in his comeback run at Dieppe and should enjoy the extra furlong on offer this afternoon. ALL REVVED UP and NYAKIM weren’t far apart in their latest outing and there is not much between the pair at the weights. PARDONNE MOI is much better than his last effort and gets his regular rider, Guyon back in the saddle. He can find a swift form return in this field.
Race 10
There is plenty of value on offer for punters in the lucky last. RHUM RHUNNER was only beaten just under two lengths in his comeback effort and will have the benefit of jumping in pole position. AMA WILD LIFE disappointed in his latest when well beaten but if repeating his penultimate run when runner-up behind Balkovska then he will have a say in this field. LADY MAX was only beaten three lengths last time and will benefit from a 1.5kgs apprentice allowance, which should assist her cause.
