Race 2
Three 3yr old fillies could dominate the finish here and complete the trifecta. The top pick goes to MOTHER’S DAY who has consistent formlines to her credit and was only narrowly beaten last time out over 1100M. She steps up in trip, but from her handy draw of four, she looks to be the one to side with today. RIDERS INTHE STAND has shown gradual improvement in her last three outings and finished a close up third last time out over this distance. SHE’S UNUSUAL was only caught very late when finishing just 0.2L behind the winner last time out and may prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages here. DANZA IN THE DARK has only had the two runs, but takes a step up in distance today and may do better as a result.

Race 3
CHARIOTS OF FIRE won his maiden race last time out over the mile and has cracked pole position here. He will be hoping to put that to good use and complete the double today. LIVE AND LOADED was also a winner of his maiden race in his last outing over seven furlongs. That was only his second run to date and if he has continued to improve, he could be the biggest threat to the former. LANDSTRASSE finished just over two lengths behind the winner last time out over this distance and should be involved in the finish here. SECRETLY AWESOME won at the second time of asking and clearly has some ability. That was over 1300M, but he could relish going the extra distance.

Race 4
THE BOPPER was a comfortable winner on debut over five furlongs and could be almost anything. He has a very wide draw to overcome, but with a bit of luck in running, he may well be able to complete the double here. GO GADGET finished second first time out over five furlongs. He would have come on with the run under his belt and from a far kinder draw, he could be a danger to the former. SLICE OF HEAVEN returns from a 15-week rest and is a filly taking on the boys. She did win second time out over five furlongs and if not too much in need of the run, she could be involved in the finish here. PYRMONT is drawn one from the outside, but he is seldom too far off the action. He is likely to be dropped out of it early and should be doing his best work late.

Race 5
This could turn out to be a match race between two 3yr old fillies, with the marginal first pick going to VAN GIZ. She finished second last time out over this distance after showing pace. She is sure to put her pole position to good use here. DIVINE APPROACH is drawn one outside the former and has posted consistent formlines to her name. She was only just denied victory in her last outing over five furlongs and should have no issue with the extra distance. LIBERTY HEAD won his maiden race last time out over 1300m and although taking on stronger here, he should be respected. SEDONA has recorded three fair runs over six furlongs and takes a drop in distance here, but he should be picking off the frontrunner at the business end of affairs.

Race 6
HIT THE TARGET put five and a half lengths between himself and the rest of the field when winning his last outing over this distance. He jumps from gate four and may prove to be difficult to topple today. CHALMERS is drawn one inside the former and did win his last start over 1500M. The drop in trip should not present a problem and he could represent the biggest threat to the top choice. SNEAK PREVIEW has consistent form and finished third last time out over 1300M. He attracted plenty of betting support that day and he will be hoping to make amends here. LUNA MIA is a 4yr old filly taking on boys, but if she is able to transfer her six furlongs form up to the seven furlongs for today’s contest, she should be respected.

Race 7
PHAISTOS has ultra-consistent form over seven furlongs to his name, winning two of his last three runs over the distance. He steps up in trip here, but starts from a mid-field draw and should put in another honest performance today. LIVE AND FREE only just failed to notch up his sixth career win when beaten 0.4L last time out over 1500M. He has a wide draw to negotiate, but he should keep the former honest. Although MILITARY ZONE finished fifth last time out over seven furlongs, he was just 0.9L behind the winner. He should not be overlooked in this contest. ARCHEDEMUS showed marked improvement last time out over 1500M and takes a step up in trip here. He is drawn eighteen, but he could use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.

Race 8
RICH AND SHAMELESS missed out on his hat-trick last time out when dropping down to 1100M and returning from a 12-week rest. His two previous wins had been recorded over this distance and from his gate eight, he could bounce back to winning ways here. TOMBOLO is a 5yr old mare taking on males. She finished second in her last outing over six furlongs, just two lengths behind the winner and should be right up there in the mix. FAVRA was beaten a head last time out over seven furlongs when attracting plenty of betting support. He has pulled pole position and may be able to pressurize the top two selections. DEEPWOOD VALE is a 3yr old filly who returns from a lengthy 33-week break. She has however had three barrier trials to prove her well-being. She goes for her hat-trick here and despite being drawn sixteen, she is not without a chance of completing the trio of wins today.
