PLACE ACCUMULATOR – R216 (Starts RACE 4)

1,2,7/3,2,10/4,3,6/1,6/2,3/1/6,1

RACE 1

CAVALLA COURT bounced back to form when finishing second to Twelfth Night on the 7th February. He will relish the mile and must have a say. MIGHTY VAIN ran on strongly last time when he fought out a blanket finish to run third to Valencia. He can go close from a neat draw. PASIR PINJI from the Donna Logan stable had a fair post maiden effort and can run into the money.

RACE 2

MARINE VANGUARD from Shane Donald Baertschiger yard ran on strongly late last time. The son of Mossman will appreciate the extra 400m and from a good draw he should be fighting out the finish. REAL EFECTO is holding his form well. The 3-year old bay gelding tries the mile for the first time and with top jockey Vlad Duric in the irons he must have a say here. ACE SOVEREIGN showed good improvement last time. He should be able to see out the longer trip and will be running on at finish.

RACE 3

RADIANT SUCCESS from the Fitzsimmons yard was running home powerfully last time and the stable are in good form. The one to side with in a competitive field. The 4-year old chestnut gelding HEAVENLY DANCER is better than his last start. He is back to race conditions that suit him well and he should be right there. PROSPEROUS RETURN drops back in trip here after Restricted Maiden win and must be respected.

RACE 4

WHO LOVES BAE was beaten into second on local debut. The son of Deep Field did nothing wrong and should strip fitter for this, but the wide draw is a dampener. If he comes across without being used up, he should about win it. ROCKET RYANE made late headway last time. He seems to handle the polytrack a touch better. He may have to settle at the back of the field from a wide gate but his in with a chance here. WISHUPONASTAR moved up like a winner last time but could not quite go on with the job. The drop back to 1100m will suit.

RACE 5

PLANTER ran a cracking race last start when finishing second over this distance. He jumps from a wide draw but he can neutralise that as he comes from the back. If he reproduces his last start, he will be hard to beat here. MIRACLE powered home for fourth to Decreto last time out. Interesting to note the Tim Fitzsimmon’s horses have been finding there way to the winner’s circle recently.  MY HORSE ran a surprising third to Winning Legend last Saturday and despite the poor draw he can feature here.

RACE 6

Today’s value bet SPORTSCASTER set the pace last time but faded the last furlong. He finished second on Tuesday in his barrier trial and he should be right there. RED RIDING WOOD form has been hard to work out of late, blows hot and cold but he must be included in all bets. ANGEL HALO recent form not very inspiring, but won his two races over this course and distance, but they were back in 2018 and 2019. The 7-year old bay gelding is not without a chance.

RACE 7

AXEL has performed very well on this surface and looks a good chance for Jerlyn Seow  to register a first career win. MUSTENGO from the Mark Walker yard won well over 2000m last time on the turf and has plenty of polytrack form as well. LUCK OF MASTER caught the eye last time when running on at finish and it might be worth taking a chance with him here.

RACE 8

BEAR WITNESS from Stephen Gray yard had a good comeback run on the 23rd January. The son of Star Witness will strip fitter and should be right there. SATURDAY from the Michael Clements yard was caught deep throughout in his last start, but still managed to finish fourth to Valencia, less than one length astern. He has drawn well and commands respect. STRONG N BEST was unlucky not to win his last start when Pasir Pinji denied him late. The 4-year old bay gelding is a main danger to the top selection.

RACE 9

The top weight SACRED CROIX from the Mark Walker yard is on a roll at the moment and that can continue here now back down in class. SUPER DYNASTY first start for Donna Logan her and he is a Group 3 winner over this course and distance. SILENT PARTNER ran a super race over the same trip and surface last time out and with a light mass he must have a say.

RACE 10

SUN TREK was an impressive maiden winner last time over this course and distance. The 4-year old bay gelding faces better here but still has plenty of scope. MR HOOPER from the Peters yard ran a cracker last time out over this distance and must have a say if repeating that last effort here today. STUNNING CAT returns from a long break. The son of Smart Missile has been showing good form in his barrier trials and can feature.
