The daughter of Heavenly Blue was reported to be coughing that day. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

UNITED EXPRESS is a winner of her last three starts. She fought hard for her last victory over this distance on the turf. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She won her only attempt over this C&D. From her good draw of three, she should be hard to beat.

HAROLD THE DUKE finished 0.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Duke Of Marmalade should have no issues with the rise to 2200m and if getting away to a clean start, he may be the one to beat.
