Race 1
Only four runners face the starter here and ENDORSE looks to be the one that they all have to beat. He was only beaten a half-length last time out over six furlongs when attracting plenty of betting support and the short step up in distance is sure to be to his liking. CLEAVER GREENE finished fourth last time out over six furlongs, but just under a length behind the winner. He could be the biggest danger to the former. SONEYMAR STAR won by nearly four lengths on debut over five furlongs. He would have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he should be right up there in the dash down to the line. CLEVER HUNTER finished 4.5L behind the top choice last time out and looks safely held on that.

Race 2
BOUGATSA made marked improvement last time out over six furlongs when finishing a head behind the winner. He has a wide draw to negotiate, but he should be doing his best work late. SAPPHIRE WINGS finished second in his last outing over five furlongs. He likes to race up with the pace in his runs, so draw six will not be against him. GAME OF CIRCLES is a 4yr-year-old filly taking on the boys. She steps up to six furlongs here, but she was not disgraced in her penultimate start over 1500M, so this extra ground should not be an issue. BENVENUTI was only beaten a short-head last time out over six furlongs and although he has the widest draw of them all, he should be able to use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.

Race 3
VIA BALCIANO won his last outing over this c&d when stepping up to the seven furlongs and will be looking for a quick double today. THE HARROVIAN completed five victories in a row when winning his last start over six furlongs. His previous wins had come over considerably longer trips, but he is clearly a versatile sort and should be taken seriously here. CRIMSON HALO is seldom far off the winner. He steps up in trip, but is sure to put in another honest performance today. WE JUST LOVE IT has his peak run here and has shown good improvement in his last two outings.

Race 4
AKILEOS has consistent formlines to his credit and finished a half-length second last time out over 1500M when finding plenty of betting support. From his handy draw of four, he should be right up there in the mix. MY GIRL POPPY is a 5yr old mare taking on males, but she won her last start over 1500M when friendless in the betting markets. She starts from a mid-field draw and should not be lightly dismissed today. TRIUMPH STAR has not finished too far back in his last two outings over a mile and he has cracked pole position. He should be involved in the finish here. FOX STREET steps up in distance, but if this is to his liking, he should be considered in this field.

Race 5
BET ON LOVE is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she followed up her win over six furlongs with a solid effort next time out over the same distance. She drops in trip, but gets gate two and 1.5kgs off her back courtesy of her claiming apprentice. CUPID’S SON, on the other hand, has to jump from stall gate thirteen, but he did win his penultimate start over five furlongs by five lengths. ALL THAT SHE WANTS is a 5yr old mare who returns from a 27-week break and has her first start for her new trainer. She has not had the benefit of a barrier trial, but if fully acclimatized in her new environment, she would have a chance on some of her better form. FULL RECOGNITION drops in distance after finding no extra last time out over six furlongs and is sure to enjoy going the shorter distance here.

Race 6
CHAPEL ROAD has his hat-trick attempt here after posting two wins over this c&d. He does however return from a 30 week break and has not had a barrier trial, so his fitness will have to be taken on trust. EL SHADAY has his second run after a 38-week rest, but he is seldom too far off the action and did finish just over a length behind the winner last time out over five furlongs. BEAU JET has finished second in his last two outings and will be hoping to go one better here despite having a wide draw. PLATINUM TYCOON returns from a 27-week rest and no barrier trial, but he has solid form over six furlongs. If not finding this trip on the sharp side, he should be considered in this line-up.

Race 7
CANDY GIRL is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she won her last start over 1300M and will jump from pole position. In an open looking contest, she should be one of the main players. SPEED EIGHT, on the other hand, will have to contend with starting from one inside the widest draw, which won’t make things easy for him, but he was just 1.5L behind the winner last time out over 1300M and should still be a factor here. VAN GAAL also has a poor draw to deal with, but he does enjoy early gate speed which he could use to his advantage to race up handy. MAKARIOS stayed on well when finishing fourth last time out over six furlongs, 1.2L behind the victor and is not without a chance today.

Race 8
THE GROOM won well last time out over six furlongs and although stepping up in trip, this should not be an issue as he was only beaten 0.7L three runs back over the seven furlongs. SO YOU DREAM followed up his victory over six furlongs with an encouraging effort next time out over the c&d. From draw six, he should be a factor here. CASH RAIDER was a little disappointing last time out over a mile, but the drop back down to seven furlongs is sure to suit him and he should be right up there in the mix, despite having a wide draw. MYSTIC EYES is a 5yr old mare taking on males, but she won her penultimate outing over six furlongs. She then finished third over 1300M next time out and although stuck out wide in gate nine, she should be respected here.
