Race 2
THRASHER is a filly taking on the boys, but her last two runs have been encouraging. She steps up in distance here, but ran on well in her last start over 1300M suggesting that the extra distance should suit her. MISHANI VANDAL is seldom far off the action and will get a set of blinkers fitted for the first time. He will also get 3kgs taken off his back thanks to his claiming apprentice. JENO finished four lengths behind the winner on debut over six furlongs in soft going. He would no doubt have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he should be involved in the finish here. SEE MARIE is a filly who made a fair debut over six furlongs. That form has been franked and she could pose a threat to the top three selections.

Race 3
Two 3yr old fillies could fight out the finish here and the narrow first choice goes to ICONISTA, who raced up with the leaders last time out over 1300M and only just failed to hang on for victory. From her handy draw, she must be a big runner here. ADELASE, on the other hand, finished strongly last time out over 1300M to just fall short of victory. She should appreciate the extra ground on offer today. SERGEANT PEPPERS drops in trip after finishing close up last time over a mile. A repeat of that effort would see him challenge for top honours. FIORELLI returns from a 25-week break, but he has put up three solid barrier trials to prove his fitness and should be considered in this line-up.

Race 4
DARING BELLE is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she was not too far back last time out over this distance and if she is able to reproduce her effort three runs back over the six furlongs, she should be respected here. HIDDEN HAIL steps up in trip after making a good debut over five furlongs. He will have come on with that run under his belt and looks to be the immediate danger to the former. APITHANOS returns from a 30 week and has his first run for his new trainer. He drops down from a mile, but did put in a good barrier trial and should be considered in this field. REDOUTE’S SPIRIT finished second on debut over five furlongs on a soft track and if he has improved since then, he should be right up there in the mix.

Race 5
CLASSIC PEARL is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she won her maiden race last time out over this c&d in heavy going. She takes on stronger here, but she might just be up to the task on hand. GALVARINO nearly caused the upset when staying on well after being hampered last time out over a mile in soft underfoot conditions. The extra trip is sure to be to his liking. GRENADIERS has cracked pole position and posted his maiden victory last time out over a mile in soft going. He steps up in distance, but he should not be overlooked. REAL ESTATE takes a big drop in distance after finishing third last time out over twelve furlongs. If not finding this trip too sharp, he should be a factor here.

Race 6
ILLUMINAIRE is a 4yr old filly taking on males and returns from a 33-week rest. She has her first run for her new trainer, but if fully acclimatized in her new surroundings, she could be the one to side with here. CHEVY NOVA returns from a shorter 18-week break, but he did put in a solid trial to prove his fitness and could be the biggest danger to the former. SEEYARON showed speed when only grabbed in the shadow of the post last time out over this trip. SISTER KITTY MAC is a 6yr old mare who has her second run after a rest. From her mid-field draw, she should be considered in this contest.

Race 7
ENDLESS MYSTERY finished strongly to win his maiden race last time out over this c&d in soft conditions. He does take on stronger today, but that was his peak run and he could have more to offer. ALPENDURADA has pulled pole position and fought on bravely last time out over six furlongs and on that performance, he looks to be one for the shortlist today. EMPIRE GAMES drops back to seven furlongs after his last outing over nine furlongs, but although drawn the widest of them all, he should be picking off the frontrunners at the business end of affairs. PRINNY’S SUCCESS returns from a 19-week rest. He did win over a mile last time out and if not in need of the run, he should be a contender starting from a handy draw.

Race 8
SUGAR ZONE has solid form over this c&d and has a plum draw. He may prove difficult to beat in this contest. ROCK ‘N’ SOL drops back to seven furlongs after two fair efforts over a mile. He did win over this c&d three runs back and has a liking for soft going. LOLA’S DIAMOND is a 6yr old mare taking on males, but she was making steady late progress last time out over this trip and should make her presence felt here. LUVACTION is a 4yr old filly who won her last start over six furlongs in soft going. She steps up to seven furlongs, but if taking to the distance, she should be respected in this field.

Race 9
SO YOU SHOP returns from a 30-week break, but he has only had the two runs to date, winning his latest over 1300M. His barrier trial was encouraging and he has drawn pole position, which is a plus. QUEEN OF EMERALDS is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has consistent formlines to her name and did win her maiden race last time out in soft conditions when returning from a 17-week rest. She has a wide draw to negotiate, but the extra ground should be to her liking. SPIRIT RICH is a 3yr old filly who is drawn one outside the top choice. She finished second last time out over this distance and should be right up there when they hit the line. HELL ON TURF finished close up over this c&d last time out. He faces a wide draw, but he should us his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.
