Race 1.
There are four runners in this the opening event on today’s program that make their debut here, so keep an eye on the betting market to get some indication as to what the connections feel about their chances of winning. Of the raced runners, FORBIDDEN LOVE could be the best. She is a filly taking on the boys, but she won over the c&d on debut and perhaps did not quite enjoying going six furlongs next time out. HINCHBEAST returns from a 16 week rest, but put in a good barrier trial to prove his well-being. He improved when dropping back to 1100M last time out and from gate two, he may be the biggest threat to the former. MARBOOSHA is another filly in the contest. She did win her maiden race on debut at a lesser center, but she may be up to the challenge here. GLACIERS is yet another filly who won over five furlongs on debut. She has a wide draw to overcome, but she raced up with the pace in her last outing over 1300m when only beaten a head and will probably employ the same tactics today.

Race 2.
DIS DAH WUN is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she made an encouraging debut over 1100M when finishing third, just 0.6L behind the winner. She won her barrier trial after than outing and starts from gate four. She should be a big runner here. FROSTY ROCKS has his first run since a 24 week break, during which time he was gelded. He has since won his barrier trial and despite a wide draw, he should be involved in the finish today. MORE PROPHETS is a 3yr old filly who finished third on debut over five furlongs. She would no doubt have come on with the run under her belt and jumping from a handy draw, she should give a good account of herself in this line-up. GLOCK has cracked pole position and has shown good improvement in his last two starts.

Race 3.
BUBBLES BALL is seldom far off the action and the drop back from seven furlongs of her last outing to six furlongs today, is sure to suit the filly. MAGGIE MISS is a speedy sort who showed marked improvement last time out when dropping down from 1700M to go over this c&d. She was just a half-length behind the winner that day and a repeat of the effort here, would make her a threat to the former. JAY JAY D’AR has her peak run here and has shown solid form over six furlongs. She has the widest draw to negotiate, but nevertheless, she should be right up there in the mix. HARDSPOT made good improvement to win her last outing over six furlongs when going from gun to tape. She may prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages of the race.

Race 4.
Four 3yr old fillies look set to dominate the finish and the quartet is very much on the cards. ARCHANNA put almost four lengths between herself and the balance of the field when winning over 1300M on debut. She starts from draw three and with the natural improvement that can be expected, she looks to be the one to side with here. SPECIAL SNAP has her second run after a 20 week rest, but she finished second just 1.3L behind the winner in her comeback outing over this c&d and should be considered for all bets. LILLEMOR just missed out on her hat-trick last time out when 1.5L back over the c&d. She has a wide draw to overcome, but she should be involved in the finish here. DAZZLING DAMSEL was making good late progress when improving in her latest outing over this distance.

Race 5.
SCICONIC has solid staying form to his credit and won well last time out over eleven furlongs. He gets to start from gate three and looks the value bet on today’s program. CAJETAN was also a winner of his last outing, this time over 2300M and although drawn wide, he should put in another honest performance here. WILD IMPACT is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys and has an even wider draw than the latter. She did however win her last start over ten furlongs and should not be lightly dismissed today. SHANGANI PATROL showed good improvement when finishing second, less than a length behind the winner last time out over 2100M. If he can confirm that effort he should be considered here.

Race 6.
SIGNIFICANCE showed plenty of toe when winning his last outing over this c&d. He jumps from a mid-field draw and a repeat of that performance would make him a hard horse to topple here. OCEAN HEART is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she has consistent formlines to her name. She has a wide draw to deal with, but she had a similar problem last time out and still managed to finish a close up fourth over seven furlongs. EARTH SONG is also a 3yr old filly who is drawn one outside the latter. She finished second last time out over the c&d after winning her penultimate start over 1350M when returning from a 15 week rest. SONG AND A PRAYER is a 5yr old mare who has shown steady improvement in her last two runs. If taking to the extra ground, she should be respected here.

Race 7.
ZAKAT narrowly missed out on completing his hat-trick when beaten a neck over 1300M last time out. He attracted plenty of betting support that day and he will be looking to make amends today. AUSSIE steps up in trip after winning well in his latest outing over five furlongs, but he was staying on well in the closing stages in that race and could be the biggest danger to the top choice. IRISH SONGS has consistent form to his credit and did win his last outing over six furlongs. From draw four, he should be right up there in the firing line. ORIENTAL RUNNER, on the other hand, will have to come from draw thirteen. He does, however, possess early gate speed and may be able to get across without using up too much energy.
