Trainer Candice Bass-Robinson has taken to handling the press with aplomb and was very easy to question about her Silvano gelding Marinaresco. “He has had a great prep and is looking outstanding. He is very fit and well. Unfortunately he has a wide draw but I am confident that Aldo will overcome that. I make it a very open race but if I have to name a danger I would nominate Justin’s filly Oh Susanna.”
