NOTTINGHAM
Race 4 No8 GIVEPEACEACHANCE (Each Way)
Trainer: Denis Coakley – Jockey: Laura Pearson
GIVEPEACEACHANCE gets a new and eye taking jockey booking as she tries to end a frustrating run of near misses. The Declaration Of War mare looked to be given plenty to do at Lingfield last time and of ridden more prominently can win this.
WORCESTER
Race 4 No2 ZUBA (Each Way)
Trainer: Nick Gifford – Jockey: James Davies
The strong travelling ZUBA has taken well to hurdling, as well as earning in three visits to Goodwood. He’s therefore shaping up into a decent dual-purpose horse for connections and can give Fire Away and Ultimate Getaway plenty to think about in a race that probably only concerns that trio.
Race 5 No8 DURRAGH
Trainer: Donald McCain Jnr – Jockey: Brian Hughes
DURRAGH went out very quickly at Cartmel on debut over jumps after a couple of near misses in bumpers. The front runner could well have learned a lot from her initial experience and is worth supporting to beat Kazontherazz.
Race 8 No4 PINNACLE PEAK (Nap)
Trainer: Martin Keighley – Jockey: Sean Bowen
PINNACLE PEAK was an impressive scorer at Southwell, confirming that day that he’s been aided by a pair of cheek pieces. With his stable amongst the winners he can follow-up and looks one to follow in the summer jumps season.
RIPON
Race 1 No2 RIVERSWAY (Nap)
Trainer: Richard Fahey – Jockey: Paul Hanagan
There was a great deal to like about the way RIVERSWAY got the job done on debut at Carlisle. The Mayson filly was easy to back on that occasion, but looked better the further she travelled. She put the race to bed in a professional manner and is strongly fancied to follow up.
Race 2 No10 ESTAD (Each Way)
Trainer: David O’Meara – Jockey: Paul Hanagan
ESTAD has mixed it with some well-treated rivals since entering the handicap arena and the beautifully-bred Dubawi gelding almost certainly hasn’t shown his true colours. Back up to a mile today, he can put in a big earning run at the main expense of Gainsbourg, who is worth a market check.
Race 6 No5 MAKASHI
Trainer: Simon Crisford – Jockey: Tony Hamilton
The Crisfords have a good record at this track and can send out MAKASHI to successfully play the experience card in this maiden. The Siyouni gelding left the money behind on handicap debut last time, but now back in grade can open his account.
WINDSOR
Race 5 No5 HOLLYWOOD LADY (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Rob Hornby
After a gallant effort on handicap debut here, HOLLYWOOD LADY should be backed to go one better for a stable in top form with its fillies. She was only worn down in the closing stages of that soft ground contest and will again have underfoot conditions in her favour.
